How do I set up this printer???- I need information!

It comes with complete printed instructions and is very simple to do. You will need to download the current drivers, walk through the installation process - plug it in, allow the machine to install the download - and follow any instructions on the built-in screen along with your computer. On completion, you can print over wifi from any device including your phone!

The TN730 toner is manufactured in Vietnam.

Will this work on the mfc-j870dw?

The Brother MFCJ870DW is not compatible with the TN730 toner cartridge as this cartridge is for mono laser printers and not inkjet printers. The Brother MFCJ870DW is compatible with the LC101 and LC103 ink cartridges.

33 percent of the reviews are 1 Starr, expressing pretty much the same issue - is anyone from Brother addressing the problem?

I seems that there are only 3% of one star reviews - not 33% as stated, which is not a bad number. I am not discounting the fact that in some cases the cartridge does not last to print ~1200 pages as described. While this number is an estimate, the cartridge should be able to print more than just a few hundred pages, as some people stated. However, a number of pages the cartridge can print (page yield)) depends on the page coverage - I believe it is ~5%.
