Better than real honey
Ok, so I actually think this tastes milder than real honey, which is a big plus for me. I like honey on some things but often I find the taste too strong. I actually use this product (and many other pyure products) because I teat completely sugar free. Contrary to what many health conscious people believe, honey, maple syrup, and coconut sugar are still sugar. I love this stuff drizzled on almond butter on toast or with a little peanut button an apple. I didn’t expect it to taste exactly like honey so I was pleasantly surprised when I found it to have a good level of sweetness with just enough honey flavor. The only thing that bugs me about this is the bottle. I’ve had at least 3 bottles and inevitably they all leak from the underside of the cap and eventually run down the bottle. It dries and does not remain sticky but it frustrates me nonetheless. I use the pyure maple syrup and caramel syrup and neither of them do this. Maybe it has something to do with the thickness of this product. I’m not sure but it certainly won’t keep me from enjoying it!

Really good for recipes
Thanks to all the people who said it was good in recipes. No, it doesn’t taste exactly like honey. But it’s close enough so I can enjoy some of the recipes I have missed for so long!!! I made a yummy chicken recipe with Dijon mustard and this honey flavoring. The only problem I see is that it says to use up within 90 days. Why? I don’t see that happening

A great substitute but NOT a replacement
I dont get why all the negative reviews. It's unfathomable to me someone bought this thinking it would actually taste and be just like honey. Honey is made a very specific way by insects, obviously nothing can truly replicate that but this is a very good substitute. If you like to eat honey by the spoonful then this is NOT for you but if you're looking for something to add to recipes or your tea then this is it right here. Does have an aftertaste (like anything with sweeteners) but won't make you go to the bathroom like certain sweeteners do. I used to add honey to my teas before the keto diet and adding stevia just wasn't the same so I love that I found this because it has the feeling of honey, a bit of the taste, the consistency (a little runnier) and I love squeezing the bottle instead of adding spoonfuls of stevia. I hate when people buy keto products and give it bad reviews because it doesn't taste exactly like the original, keto substitutes will never be exactly like the originals lower your expectations or follow a different diet. Anyway, if you are looking to spruce up your tea or add to your recipes this is a great hunny.

yummy,like honey,but not alone
This is FABULOUS ON things but bitter if you eat it straight out of bottle with no food under ir.its overpriced, but I live it.ill only buy it once a year it's so pricey.

Wouldn’t purchase again.
I bought this for a recipe. The consistency was pretty spot on but the taste wasn’t that great. I did enjoy it in my tea well enough so I decided to use it all up BUT I had the lid snapped closed and stored it upside down since the product was running low and it leaked all my Inside my bamboo Lazy Susan. It is impossible to remove all the stickiness because I don’t want to submerge the entire thing and water. Won’t be buying it again.

A good facsimile for honey!
My mother and I both eat a very low carb diet. She wanted something honey-like to have with peanut butter on low carb tortillas for a treat, and I wanted something that would act like honey for baking. We both find the flavor of this product acceptable even if it is not exactly the same as honey. Since it is only for occasional treats, we are not worried if it isn't perfectly keto. If you are a honey aficionado, if may not be the thing for you, but for us it's great! Will definitely buy again.

It’s a no for me
I really wanted to love this. I ordered it with the intention of enjoying some peanut butter sammys on my keto bread.....this stuff tastes good at first but once u eat it for a minute or keep it in your mouth u taste a weird chemical taste that lingers. Even after u take a drink....it’s still there. And honestly I know it’s a hit or miss with the diet stuff so I wasn’t too disappointed but I was hoping for a honey alternative but I didn’t find it in this product. I don’t recommend

Not exactly honey, but an EXCELLENT alternative!
Excellent honey alternative!!! First off, it's NOT honey, please don't expect it to be the thickness of raw unfiltered honey, it's definitely more along the lines of a thinner / squeezable honey. Also, if you're trying it, please make an allowance for the taste in how you use it: it's REALLY good in or on things and DOES hit that warm/buttery/vanilla-y note of honey when used that way, but by itself in a spoon you're going to taste the 'alternativeness' of it. Now as an alternative it is AMAZING, I get my honey 'fix' without the real honey guilt. But seriously, if you're in a Winnie the Pooh mood and need the real deal, straight-up (I feel you), this won't do it alone (I recommend adding to a bit of really thick natural peanut butter to add some texture)
