GM Genuine Parts D447 (10496798) Distributor Rotor

Had to reorder. I broke this installing. Not a part problem

Fit just like the original.

The old one was very difficult to remove. To minimize damage to the distributor a flathead screwdriver was heated with a torch a few times melting a slit or line into the side of the old rotor base. Then tapping with screw driver and hammer to split in order to remove it from the shaft. Taking note finding all plastic and spring steel, then light sanding of shaft to ease sliding on the new rotor. A Shop Vac is useful to help clean it up. All due to rust on the shaft which would cause the seizing of any brand. Installed this new rotor with a new cap, wires, and plugs. Runs well !

it works it fits and I didn't use a Hammer

I use AC Delco stuff on my 1995 Chev 7.4l dually when it comes to tune up parts. It works and is a good value for the money. Best of all I didn't have to go to the parts house to get it, was delivered right to my door.

I installed this Rotor on my 1990 Chevy C1500 with a 5.7 (350) engine. It was a bit of a tight fit, but better that than being loose, and my engine starts and runs very smoothly. I expect the tight fit is probably due to the tolerances in the die in the injection mold process. Nonetheless, I have found AC Delco parts to be one of the best money can buy compared to any! This part was marked "made in Mexico" but it appears to be made of very high quality materials, exactly what you would expect from G.M. / AC Delco. I would gladly buy this again without any reservations
