I'm pretty happy with it
It wouldn't be shapewear if it weren't tight. Overall, this is relatively comfortable once you get it on, yes it feels a little tight at first but once it is in place it smooths things out remarkably well. I am a performer so I need to look my best in whatever outfit I choose for each show. This works well to create a sleeker look under dresses, and even under a clingy top it works pretty well. It isn't perfect but to smooth things even more it would need to be lot more rigid and tight. I'm happy with the way it feels. Not had a problem with the straps.

Tight at first! Once you wear them a while and break in, they are wonderfully comfy! A+ Vanity Fair!
I lost weight and am not sure what size I need, but I ordered the white and black in a large and the white was delivered first. I tried it on with tags and wore it a few hours. The cups were a bit too small (I wear a 38DD) and the body was tight and gave me a backache, so I packed it up to send back. When the L black came the next day I almost didn't try it because of the white being too tight, but I did and apparently someone had already broken it in. It fits! I might keep the black size L. I need to try the XL first. Ugh I hate being between sizes. I have received the white and black in XL and the cup size fits a DD.

Very good, but not perfect.
I am a menopausal belly, 65 year old, 170 lbs., 5โ3โ, 36D, and wear a size large in most tops. I am a breast cancer survivor having had a left breast lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node surgery 2 years ago. I have been wearing shapermint compression camis or front zip sports bras due to post-op recovery, lymphedema, and scaring until now. It was not until after going through treatment and surgery that I now have a belly and I am super self-conscious about it. I decided to give this Vanity Fair shaping bra a try. I ordered a size large despite the sizing chart and it fits very well. I could use a little higher for underarm overhang, but this is better than most. I like the support the cups offer as well as some modesty with nipple coverage. While this shaper offers some compression it can only go so far. My photos show there is still a crease in my back and my belly still sticks out, but it helps to keep it smoother. Some reviews mention the stitching under the cups to be very itchy and I did inspect this upon arrival. I can feel the stitching, and it is a bit uncomfortable, but not any worse than any other bra Iโve had. I need the support the cups offer so I am keeping it and will possibly add another at sometime in the future. Like any other I have tried, it will roll up, so I plan to tuck it in. It is very long which one photo shows it comes well over my hips. The straps are wide and adjustable. If there is a perfect shaper bra please let me know!

Too small despite sizing
I purchased 3 different branded โshaperโ camis and unfortunately this one got returned. I did like the neckline and the structure of the material. Out of the 3 I ordered, this one definitely would have done the most โshapingโ on my waist line. Unfortunately, it was probably too small despite ordering my true size of a medium based on the sizing information. I could tell it was going to roll up during wear due to the lack of elastic or โstickyโ strip at the bottom to hold it in place. It also caused the flesh at the top near my armpits and upper back to bulge unflatteringly. I would consider sizing up, but then worry about the effectiveness and fit of the bust.

Exactly what I was looking for
Finally what Iโve been searching for and a great price compared to others on the market. Similar to my Rhonda Shear cami I bought years ago and canโt find again. Love the molded cups so much better than those loose removable foam inserts you find in most cami tops and bras. As with any cami you need to order a size up to fit your cup size. The XL fits my 36D perfectly and length is perfect and doesnโt roll up. Not sure why some complained of it being itchy. Itโs silky smooth and so comfortable all day. Highly recommend!

Great Product but Size Up!
Love this Cami but size up! This product does a great job at smoothing you out and would even work great as a layering piece but it does run small, especially if you are "gifted" up top. I usually would wear a Large, but ordered an XL and it is perfect.

well made, flattering, comfortable, non-removable shaping cups. highlly recommend
Love this cami! Was perfect for colder months, but could easily wear alone in the warmer days with jeans or denim skirt. I love that the built in cups are NOT removeable so you do not need to reassemble them every time. I wash on delicate, cold, and hang dry. The adjustable straps are a plus to ensure a good fit. It does not provide compression in the waist on me, but for others, it may be different. The material is high quality. I have worn this 4-5 times weekly since purchasing, would love to buy the nude/tan color. Love the sweetheart neckline, very flattering. I can wear this all day without discomfort. I am 5'4" and 113#, 32-34 A/B cup. Highly recommend

Most accurate Shaper sizing, fit, and feel!
Iโm initially satisfied that this Vanity Fair Shaper is the best fit, best constructed, and best value for the price. I have tried 4 other brand shapers and found them either too large, too small, too compressive, or insufficiently compressive. It gives a smooth appearance, is soft to the touch, has built in support for my bust, and has adjustable straps. Using the step-in method, I had mild resistance bringing it over my hips, but once it was up, the torso compression was just right for my needs. I gave it 4 stars because I want to see if it stays put during wear. Once I have spent a few hours wearing it with clothing, I will be able to speak to how well it stays in place.

Comfortable all day support.
Very comfortable and gives adequate light support without being hot. I bought one and then ordered another one in a different colour. They wash well and hang to dry.
