Tea Seed Meal - All Natural, Plant Safe (50 lb)

OH MY. I had an infestation of asian jumping worms in my backyard and in my gardents. Ive never seen anything like this. I hand tossed the product all over the yard and gardens just a day before a storm was coming. The next morning.........total worm annihilation. Hundreds if not more dead jumping worms everywhere. The price is worth it for me. My only sorrow is that this stuff kills all worms. Good ones and bad ones. So I will treat my land a few more times just to try to eradicate all asian worms then I will start the rebuilding process with good worms. Get this stuff before it gets out of hand.

This product is the ONLY way you will conquer Asian jumping worms, and it won't hurt plants or vegetables. I almost gave up gardening until I found this product. A+

We'll see how this works in the long run, but this was the response minutes after watering the tea seed meal granules. I'd estimate I'd used about 1# per 100sq.ft. Good for the plants and it may get rid of these creepy destructive little mothers? I'm sold. If need be I am more than happy to buy 50# when the initial 25# are done. At the very least my trees, plants and wild grasses will appreciate the nutrients

Its not cheap, but its is very effective. I have been dealing with a jumping work issue for a while now. I had them infesting my garden beds and causing a bunch of issues with my soil. I was hand picking them but that took forever and i started to notice them in a lot of other places. So I saw this product as being effective. So I figured I would take the chance. I sprinkled about a solo cup fill over a 4x12 raised bed and watered it in really well. It took about 5 to 10 minutes and these things were all over the top of the soil all dying. I probably picked up a half of a gallon jug full just the first time walking around. I was surprised how well this worked. Now I turned the soil and added fresh compost. I am hoping after this treatment and one more it will knock them down or get rid of them completely. I fought to get anything to grow well this year in my garden. I hope this fixed it! It works well.

I bought this for worm castings and let me tell you… this works great. I like to cut my grass at half an inch and the castings just make the yard look pretty harsh. Very little odor easy to apply just use a hand spreader. Price is reasonable and you can apply this wet, dry whenever. I water in immediately or wait for some rain forecast and there you go. You notice it the next morning when you see a bunch of worms ☠️ on your yard

Unfortunately, the product had no instructions included, or listed on the bag. As a result, I had to look up the spreader setting to use on-line, given the information on Amazon about pounds per square foot. The results were mixed. Be aware the this will kill all worms, not only Asian Jumping Worms. I was able to identify a couple of dozen that were killed, but expected more as a result of other comments and descriptions. I used about 1/2 the bag in one area and will try treating another area with the remaining 1/2.

Bottom line: This stuff kills jumping worms. We have a major infestation and through handpicking, solarizing where feasible, and TSM, we have knocked it down to a somewhat manageable level from what was a garden horror story.. Some possibly helpful tips 1. If no rain in the forecast, repeat multiple light waterings if your soil has become hydrophobic. 2. wait 48 hours water again, the TSM did not all dissolve the first time. 3. It's expensive but you don't need much; hand spreader works great. I haven't seem any negative effects on veggies or plants but it's early days. TSM will be a regular part of my garden chores until they are declared a pest (which they 100% are) and something that kills the eggs becomes available. Until that time, it's going to be an ongoing battle.

I order Planet Earth tea seed meal fertilizer often, but the bag I received a week ago was clumpy, damp and discolored, also it didn’t smell like the tea seed meal fertilizer I have previously purchased. This product is too expensive to not be the product it’s intended to be. I need to know how Amazon intends to correct this issue
