SureGuard Waterproof Mattress Protector, Crib Size Mattress Cover

Great mattress. Arrived flat but followed directions and it amazingly fluffed up to a perfect size. Toddler slept well the first night and said she loved her new bed. I do recommend

I got this for my son because he has very sensitive skin and we had been having problems with him scratching his face in the night. This cover seems to have helped tremendously and his skin seems to be doing much better after a week on this new mattress cover and sheets. It’s soft and easy to clean. We’ve had one accident of a leaking diaper so far and it seemed to keep the mattress dry! So far we are very pleased with the product.

I would recommend this product. It has done a good job at keeping stains off the mattress (daughter spilt juice). I bought it because my daughter sometimes takes her diaper off during the night and tinkles on her bed while asleep. It definitely absorbs and fixed my problems with that. My only disappointment was that it doesn't go over the whole mattress (front and back) like I expected and zip around sides. This product looks more like a fitted sheet but with very absorbent material. It's very thin though so I haven't had any problems getting her regular fitted sheet over the top of it. It's definitely a keeper. I would buy it again and recommend it to others

I've used this for about a month and so far so good. I layer my sheets so I have the protector, a sheet, a 2nd protector and a 2nd sheet so I can just strip the top layers off if my LO spits up. Easy to clean, is easy and snug fit over mattress for both layers, and light weight. I did buy it on sale though -- I don't think I'd pay full price for it.

These have certainly been tested and so far we haven't had any leakage from the mattress pad down to the crib mattress. Would buy again.

Update 8/31/2018: (See original review below) I contacted SureGuard since they have a warranty for their products. I received replacement mattress protectors under the warranty and the new ones seem to be doing their job of protecting the layer below from moisture or odors. I must have received a bad batch originally. I still don't know what exactly was wrong though. There didn't seem to be any holes, and I washed them according to the instructions. Original review: I trust Amazon reviews when shopping, so I chose these mattress covers for my baby's crib. I read about a "crib lasagna" online where you layer a bed sheet then a waterproof pad, then another bed sheet and a waterproof pad. I tried it out with 2 full layers, and my baby wetting the bed during her nap leaked through the supposed waterproof padding all the way to the next pad, which was also moist and smelled of urine. How are these considered waterproof if the underlayers get wet? As these are the only mattress protectors I own, I have attempted this numerous times and every time she has an accident, I end up having to change both mattress pads. I really don't understand how this product has so many 5 star reviews. Good thing I made many layers so at least it did not permeate the actual mattress. I will try doubling this cover under one sheet, and purchase additional from somewhere else for further layers.

My lil one had gotten a viral infection and I was a determined mama to prevent any way from him getting another one. I already cleaned my home like a maniac washing everything to keep germs away. Now mind you I used to work as an early head start teacher with 2 year olds so cleaning is a part of my DNA. I was puzzled how he got sick, but then realized his mattress and playpen mattress may contain germs. Growing up I remembered my mom had a protector on our mattresses because my brothers had allergies so I went searching on Amazon and found this and their mini crib mattress cover for playpens. My lil one was a good sleeper as a newborn and spent most of his time in his crib. My lil one once older would play in his play pen while I was used the bathroom or needed him to be safe so I needed to cover both mattresses. I would say it helped because with both the crib and mini crib mattress covers, an air purifier, and whole room humidifier he did not get another viral infection.

The mattress protector fit nicely on the mattress. It also washed and dried Great! I just followed the directions on the package. It also doesn’t make noise when the baby moves. So far no spills, stains, etc. so I can’t comment on that. But thinking if/when it happens it should protect the mattress. *****2 months later and it’s still holding up!!
