While I dont consider these bad things, keep them in mind! This thing is super sturdy and made of solid wood (pine). It is also larger than expected, which is actually a huge bonus - it is taller than me (5 foot 2) which means I have to tippy toe to kiss my cats little nose. It is wonderful and she loves it. Bought it because I moved to my first apartment and my cat prefers to be on tall things, and was hoping to help run out her infinite energy by chasing a toy up and down this. I've been able to do all of this and more! The box it comes in is rather heavy, the assembly instructions are clear. You will need a philips head screwdriver, but it comes with the other tools you need! I was able to put it together by myself, although I am a bit stubborn and couldve been easier with another person.

The first thing I noticed was the solid, heavy, non-cheap material. That was my biggest concern. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. They had one extra of each hardware piece. It took an hour to put it together because I had poor lighting and was taking my time. The people saying it took them 4 hours probably can’t tie their own shoes. The people saying to buy a ladder are misleading you into believing that a ladder would be more sturdy or made of better material. I think that same person said their cats don’t use it. We’ll try putting it in a better spot and/or giving them a day to get used to it. My cats love it. It is sturdy and made from quality material. It’s easy to assemble. 10/10 would recommend and would buy again.

I was looking for a unique cat tree and saw this. I was a bit concerned because it didn’t have any reviews, but I took a chance. I am glad I did!! This is a super solid (all real wood) piece of cat furniture. It is unlike anything I have ever seen before and I kind of like it’s funkiness. I have assembled probably a dozen of the basic cat trees so I was hoping for something a bit different. This did not disappoint. There are a ton of “pros” for this cat tree: PROS: *Solid and heavy *Came very well packaged with all pieces in perfect condition *Clear directions *Cool vibe *Actually folds as a ladder CONS: *I can do a regular cat tree in about 20 minutes and this had me stumped with the many pieces staring back at me. This took about 5 hours and drove me to drink afterwards. But, the final product was a success and I would absolutely buy it again.

HUGE cat tree, fantastic quality, REAL solid wood. The cats love it. It needs 2 people to assemble!!!! Follow the instructions step by step to avoid starting over and getting divorced.

High hopes! I was so excited to get this ladder! Very well made, really great. It took me a while to put it together but it went well and the directions were pretty clear. I think this might be better suited for a smaller cat. Sadly my cat doesn't like it. He's a big lanky cat and has fallen off the ladder rungs a few too many times-they are just too narrow-so he now avoids it. I've had to bring out his older uglier cat tree so he can go up to his fave place. I think I'm gonna have to return it, darn!

I don’t write a lot of reviews but always look at them. This time I felt it might be helpful for others. I bought this for my mom’s cats as they like to get up on the wall and the trellis they were using broke. This is a very solid piece. Came packaged perfectly. It does take some time to put together, I am pretty handy and it took about 2 hours. The directions are clear and easy to follow but do follow them especially with the circular climb through pieces. Also I used an impact driver instead of the little hex wrench this saved a lot of time just make sure not to over tighten, as I did break one screw this way. It came with some spare parts. Once put together this is solid and stable. If this is something you were looking for for them to climb up higher I highly recommend it. The wood has a nice finish and the pads can be taken off for cleaning.

we travel a lot with our two kitties - I thought this would be great and a space saver in the back of our truck - we always carry a cat tree - when I saw the description as being collapsible I bought it- I understood it had to be assembled- wow what a joke. the long pieces of wood for the legs are nothing but spliced pieces of wood - About 6 or eight per leg - very small screws made it difficult to screw in - not stable enough for cats to jump around on it - will tump over easily. one of the legs split about 8 inches at the top of the ladder when we tried to flatten it - it is also heavy -

I have had this for a year now. It lives in my work from home office, and I have four Maine Coons. Every day, this is where they lounge with me. It is very sturdy. I more often than not have three on it at once. It still looks new because it is easily cleanable. I highly recommend for the multiple cat servants.
