I love...Love...LOVE these pants!! They're very light & airy and very soft against the skin...perfect for summertime wear. Due to a minor skin condition which makes me a little self conscious, I don't really like wearing shorts out in public. Jeans are just plain too heavy & hot. Capris & Ankle pants are just awkward looking & not very flattering on most average women who (let's face it!) aren't tall, slim, model types! These harem pants are the perfect solution imho. I've read some reviews that said the material is too thin & see through but I haven't had that problem. Of course, I guess if you bought the white/light colored style then you'd definitely have a problem with dark or boldly patterned undies showing thru because, after all, the material is soft but thin. I usually buy the darker colors & busier patterns so I've never really had that problem. The only other "see thru" factor imo would be the material is lightweight enough that bright light (like in a doorway) might allow the silhouette of your legs to be seen but so what...you're still not as exposed as when wearing shorts or a bathing suit. If you're that shy or easily embarrassed then you need to wear more layers & alot heavier clothes... & swelter & sweat all summer. No Thanks!! I also read a couple reviews that complained about the fit being weird... the crotch not coming up high enough or having to pull the pants up to the ribcage or armpits to get the pants crotch up to the "normal" position! Folks, trust me, these aren't meant to be normal fitting pants. They're supposed to be loose & flowy, "I Dream of Jeannie" (look it up you kids!) harem style pants...NOT fitted, body-con, "look at my cute bubble butt" pants!! The top of the waist band should sit at/near or slightly below your belly button which then makes the crotch lower & the legs kind of full & billowy down to the elastic ankle bands. Perfect for healthy air circulation in the summer heat & humidity. The pants shouldn't touch the ground & if they do, either move the elastic band up your calf (I didn't like that feeling) OR try another brand that has a shorter INSEAM (not the same as the total outside length) in this style. There are plenty brands with inseams in the 27"-30" range if you look around. I prefer a minimum 31"-32" inseam & I like this particular brand because their inseam is on the longer side. I have found most of these pants will bleed atleast a little the first couple times you wash them and they do get softer & softer with every wash. I don't wash by hand like so many folks say to do. I usually toss them in the washer with dark colored tees, undies, etc & wash in cold water on the gentle cycle (if I remember). Hubs has even washed them with jeans accidentally without any real problems. I sometimes hang to dry but if in a hurry I've also tossed them in the dryer with other lightweight materials. I've only had one pair slightly split a seam but that was really my fault (bad positioning). You'll have to decide for yourself about that chore. Like I said before, I think these harem pants are The Perfect Summertime Pant! I wear them just about everywhere all summer long & with leggings underneath them I can extend that wearing season into mid-Spring & mid-Fall! I highly recommend these pants for a truly comfortable style!

I bought these twice in two different sizes and I love all of them. Super comfortable, not as sheer as you might be fearing, and true to size. There may be some slight inconsistencies in the exact cut of each pair (I bought two pairs of black and noticed the legs aren't the same width when folding them up.) Fabric is super soft and doesn't wrinkle much. All of the pants have smocked elastic waists with a very forgiving wide waistband area. There is also elastic in the ankles. They have a single low side/cargo-like pocket on the right-hand leg. I bought them first in the largest 4XL size because I am don't trust online sizing for plus-sized items--especially when they range from S to 4XL and may be coming from an Asian distributor. But they fit great and had so much extra stretch that I didn't need that I came back and ordered more in 2XL, which is my normal size. Here are my fit tips: * I can wear both the 4XL and the 2XL comfortably. The 4X pair stay on and are not in any danger of falling off of me. They have much wider legs than the 2X pairs (I'd guess about twice as wide). * The 2X pairs fit like any other 2X loose-legged and elastic-waisted pants I might buy. The fabric itself is not stretchy, though. So sometimes while wearing them if I squat down I can feel the fabric pulling tightly around my thighs. For me, this is easily remedied by just pulling the leg fabric upwards slightly before squatting. But I was not blessed with a juicy booty, so I would suggest if you are well-endowed in that area to consider sizing up one size. * The listing says that these are 100% rayon, while the care tag says they are 100% viscose and made in Thailand. (Rayon and viscose are technically the same thing.) Rayon will shrink if washed in hot water and/or dried on a hot temperature. I haven't washed mine yet, but the care tag does say to wash in cold water and tumble dry on low heat, which I will endeavor to do. But I wanted to include the care instructions here as it may impact what size you decide to order. For the price, these are cute, comfy, and very nice quality. I have zero complaints!

For an affordable pair of pants these are great these are like my six pair and seven years! BUT?? I feel like there isn’t as much cotton as they used to be!?? these feel more rayon and Poly? And I know when I first bought them like I said six or seven years ago they definitely had cotton in them these feel very different they feel a lot cheaper I hate to say it the fabric they still feel nice but something different with the fabric? Would I still buy them? Oh sure 100% they’re still comfy they still look good but there’s just something slightly different with the fabric composition now and I know that the previous ones had at least a little bit of cotton I can’t tell with the new ones? But they are lightweight and good for spraying and summer days when it’s a bit chilly or a rainy! And they’re cute I wish they’d bring back the old fabric though

I used these pants for Pirate Day at the nursing home I work for. This is a thin material but not see-through. The elastic material is comfortable and fits true to size. I ordered a Large and it fit perfectly.

LOVE these super comfy harem pants! I'm planning a trip to southeast Asia and it is always hot and uncomfortable there. These pants are extra lightweight for travel, wash nicely, and just enough gathering at the ankle to make them fit my short (5'1") stature. I ordered the XL, as I like my pants loose and comfy, and these certainly are that. If you wear a size 14, you might prefer a L instead, though. Colors are all rich and vibrant. A deep olive green with punches of yellow, white, and hot pink. I can already envision them with a variety of tops, both tank tops and more flowing ones too. Going to buy more right now! POST TRIP UPDATE: I ended up purchasing three pair of these pants, two print and one in the dark blue. Sadly, only the blue ones came home with me, as the other two ripped -- not just down the seam but across the backside -- after only 2 or 3 wearings. I was wearing the red print ones while ballooning over a thousand temples in Burma, squat down in the basket to change camera lenses, and heard a strange sound. I quickly checked the crotch but it seemed okay. A few minutes later, I heard another sound and reached behind me to find that the pants had ripped horizontally near my right cheek. After the balloon landed, I had to climb over the edge of the basket and then into a boat for the ride back to our lodging. By the time I got there, I had a 6" tear and a well-ventilated derriere! Perhaps the print ones are slightly thinner and thus less durable. Made me sad because these are super comfy and easy to wear. I would like to replace the torn ones but am not sure I can risk another bit of southern exposure! So my 5 stars had to go down to a 3. Take your chances!

These pants were beautiful and comfortable however, the material was very thin. The second time I wore them, they completely came apart at the seams in the crotch area. Unfortunately, because I didn’t wear them immediately and waited a while before wearing them again, I missed the return window. I really wish they’d been higher quality.

I think these are super cute harem pants and the material will probably lay nicely. My concern is the washability, and shrinkage that this material might have at 100% viscose fabric. You will have to be careful how you wash them and hang to dry. I tried them on and they were very comfortable with the light weight fabric. They can be very versatile for casual wear and dress up. The length was perfect. 5'5" tall.

Having been to Thailand 4 times I can attest to the fact that the women there are very pretty and very small. A size "medium" American gal, ie. me, will feel like a cow in comparison. When you see their XL it really means an American Medium, and a small medium at that. If you're lucky enough to be a medium or smaller then these pants should thrill you. For only 15 bucks they're a steal; and not only that, they're really nice pants. The shirred waistline hides a multitude of sins, and the length is very generous considering the sizing difference. I was not comfortable in this pant in a size L but the XL fit really well. So will be returning the L. Just fyi, I'm 5' 2" 160 (ow!) with a 37" waist. Going on a diet as I'm officially now diabetic. Anyway, even at 120 lbs I think these would fit fine because the waist is so elasticized. It goes down about 5" of shirring from the top. I wear at waist and rise is perfect; I would say long, which IS what I need; If you like a low rise that's okay, just push them down like the models. The fabric is fabulous, lightweight, feels like silk, the seams are serged just like all professional clothing; I would recommend reinforcing the seams with another row of stitching if you're worried. Do NOT machine wash on anything but a short 5 minute cycle of GENTLE or hand wash, and do NOT machine dry these!!! Hang up and they dry very fast because they're so thin. If this was cotton fabric, instead of rayon, it would be called "lawn" which is the finest most expensive kind of cotton fabric. I live in the tropics and can use these year round. I recommend ordering at least 2 sizes larger than your regular size; their small is going to be much smaller than an American small. I love these pants. They are so comfortable and the designs are lovely. Study the size charts and read the reviews. Order 2 sizes if you're unsure and return the one that doesn't fit. Also, not all Vendors have exactly the same kind. So far only pants from 2 Vendors have arrived. Also, these are not meant to be worn tight; they are supposed to be loose and kind of "flowy" and if you keep to that then no holes should happen and/or no seams should come apart. They're the complete opposite of jeans. I could live in these; actually I think I will! Hope this helps.

These trousers are super comfy and look nice on. Only gripe is that there was a seam on the leg about 3 inches long which I had to mend as it was unstitched. Also bought a second pair which I also had to stitch an open seam. For the price they should be perfect. Hoping they stay sewn and don't find other split seams.

For waist size, it's fine, and length is fine too but that's about it. With the style of these pants, I expected a nice fit, however its tighter around the upper thighs, and it RIDES UP LIKE CRAZY. The back ended up sitting way lower than the front, and the...crotch line was..well....right up my....area. incredibly uncomfortable. Im so disappointed because I thought these were super cute.

Sehr bequem, sehr schön, die Farben sind etwas anders... eher rötlich als in Richtung lila. Trotzdem sehr zufrieden.

Tracking info was a pain, but the pants are beautiful, received today. They are abit too big, so I'll be ordering in a smaller size next time. Sizing is really great for being from Amazon.
