They were good quality sturdy, strong and durable, the size was perfect not to small but just the right size not to overpower the frame of my fire place, loved the appearance of how neat they look hanging up on the rack. It's a fireplace tool set. Just what I needed. Only negative is that the rods don't stay screwed in tightly. I constantly have to tighten the poker so it doesn't fall off in the fire. Stand is sturdy and it does the job. Looks nice too
