Really simple set up and the pre loaded word and spreadsheet software are ideal. Does everything it says it would do. Nothing not to like and good value for money. Would recommend to those with limited tech needs like myself who want a solid bit of kit with few thrills but can use the internet, emails, word processing and the spreadsheet without any dramas or large (microsoft) cost.

As a piece of kit, this ChromebookPlus is 5 star, but the device is let down by apps that are 3 star at best. If Google are serious about enabling Chromebooks to be a serious alternative to a conventional laptop they have to make a better offer on basic utility apps, especially for email management. Enabling Linux offers a few additional email apps, but none are outstanding. The Google Web Store is really basic - Zoom is fairly close to the standard PC/Mac versions. Anyone thinking of using Chromebook for business will be disappointed. Gmail is OK for handling a few personal accounts, but is useless for managing multiple MSexchange accounts that are the basis of almost all business communication. My overall impression - I'll stick with Chromebook for the light weight and excellent battery life, but it could be so much better if there was a decent email app that handle multiple accounts and calendars.

Been a Wintel PC user for decades. Now retired and I don’t need the complexity so tried this Chromebook Plus. It turns on and boots up instantly in a way a Wintel machine will never do. I use a browser, Outlook email (via a PWA), Google Docs (Sheets etc.), wireless printing and Google Drive for Cloud storage. All quick and easy. There are only a limited number of settings and configurations required with Chrome OS - much simpler than a PC. It just works out of the box.

Great product love it . To be aware that it is cromebook so if you want windows it isnt on . I didnt realise that . But never the less it is good, has a clear screen, nice tactile buttons and great value for money.

Really good. I use it for uni and has kept up, it also has quick charging and a long battery life. Overall recommend for a cheap good this is the laptop

Not compatible with Microsoft products so pretty pointless as a laptop. I wish I had spent more time on research as this is rubbish. Bought another windows laptop and it runs circles around this one.

I got this because it runs android apps. I play online darts and use this to run the app it runs the app great also the 2 cameras I use to show board and me playing. Runs for a good 10 hours on a charge and will be receiving updates into the 2030s excellent for just over £200.

Chromebook OS, the operating system on this is very poor, playstore apps dont fully work with it at times where I was hoping it would mirror Android functionality on smartphones, since Google own both operating systems. For instance you can't watch blockbuster movies on YouTube only basic movies, HBO Max app will not play movies. Its overpriced considering apps or websites fail to function on it at times. Its very hit & miss for functionality, Not recommending it.
