Excellent replacement pads with excellent value!
These are insanely comfortable replacement ear pads. The memory foam is pillowy soft, yet the thickness of the pads keeps them from compressing too much, keeping your ears from touching the drivers.Installing them is easy enough, but depending on the model, it can be tough to gently install them without risking breaking them. Unfortunately, I did break an ear pad once, but this was complete user error. As long as you're working the leather around the headphone cup, it shouldn't break, it just takes a bit of time. After installing, it fits snugly, and I don't see them ever coming off.Sound quality is mostly unchanged, but I did notice a slight reduction in sibilance, which can be good depending on the model of headphones. If your pair of headphones uses foam on the drivers, I recommend installing these ear pads OVER the foam instead of placing the foam inside the ear pads themselves. This can be a harder install, but this is how you can get the best sound quality possible. If you put the foam in the ear pads themselves after installing, it will absorb a lot of treble and it will make them quieter.

So Comfy
So here's a verified buyer review for you. I know some would think I'm crazy, and I might be just a little. I purchased these Brainwaves XL Earpads to replace the stock ones for my new Monoprice Modern Retro Over Ear Headphones. Both the headphones and pads were reccomended from one of my favorite all time YouTube reviewers, Zeos from Z Reviews. In my experience, this man is so incredibly accurate with headphones and DACs and AMPs, etc. He's also fun to listen to and the farthest from boring you will ever know! So I ordered the pads the same day I ordered the Monoprice Modern Retros. I never heard the Retros prior to making this entire purchase. That's right, I ordered new replacement earpads for headphones on order too. All this because, mainly, of Zeos. I did try the new Monoprice cans before changing the ear pads and WOW! He was right again. They are significantly more comfortable. They provide a lot better quality and isolation. In 3 words, I love them. I love the headphones just as much too. Keep in mind these Brainwaves were slightly more expensive than the headphones. I'm just so amazed that in my experience you get what you pay for and that still holds true. The point is both the Monoprice Modern Retros AND the New Brainwaves Earpads are an exemplary choice, and a great financial decision. This was a first for me as I have been collecting headphones for about the last 10 years. I'm up to about 35 pair all included. To sum it all up, you cannot go wrong with either the headphones or the earpads. The new pads provide very deep, plush, wide bass. The mids are fantastic right up front with the treble, sweet and intense. No bleedover at all. Precise yet fun is how I would describe them. An over ear headphone lover's dream come true!Lastly, I believe in the hotly debated topic of headphone burn in. In my experience all types of headphones just sound better after 20 or 30 hours in. I believe this to be true from experience. Only in this modern era can we do what I did and benefit from the overall purchase. You do not have to spend several hundred (or thousand) dollars to achieve amazing comfort and bit perfect audio!

Hifiman 400i
This ear pads fit the hifiman 400i, i must say that the sound is changed, not drastically, the bass i feel like is a little bit more pronounced, and the Mids are tiny bit loose, compare to the stocks pads. but from the stock earpads the "Focus pads" the quality of this ones are way superior, you will have to take the plastic ring from the stuck ones to make this ones fit.

SO comfy vs. the originals
I have bought many replacement pads for Beyer-Dynamic headphones, so far these are by far the best. They are definitely the biggest, which is critical because my ears fatigue and get sore easily. These cause 0 fatigue, the only set that has EVER done this.Install - All Beyer pads are honestly so easy to replace. As you mount you will notice the flap goes way over the headphone, these are bigger than normal in that regard. Shown in pic. 9/10Sound - Instant boost in bass and clarity, but my other pads lost their coating, so it makes sense because the seal was instantly better. 9/10Comfort - These are bigger than any pad I have ever owned, they are deeper and taller, and make ACTUALLY 0 contact with my ears, another first. 10/10These stand alone on a pedestal in my mind for replacement pads, the only thing I cannot review is the durability, since I have only had them for a few months.

Worth it. Best upgrade for any cheap earpads
Buy them. If have the Samson sr850 or any headphones that come with terrible stock pads, these are such an immediate huge upgrade. The Samson's I bought are great headphones but came with those really thin velour pads that I have in the picture above. These brainwaves xl pads are very comfy and easy to install. Will be buying again for future headphones. The price is very affordable. I also have big ears and was worried about the round pads. I usually like oval pads for that reason. But the dimensions of these ones are spacious enough for my ears to not hit the drivers . Great buy. The only gripe I have with them is the audio profile is a little different with these on. And when I say that it's so hard to notice. So it's not a breaking point for it. The pads are alot thicker my previous ones so I get it. By far the best upgrade you can make for a pair of headphones.

Not as comfortable as expected.
(Large pleather model) If you've used Bose quiet comforts before, you will be very disappointed when you put these on your head. Feels cheap. The texture does not feel like leather. The foam is not plush enough. Does not feel like I just spent $25 on a headphone pad replacement. It did add bass to my x2hr, so its not useless. Would not recommend.
