I got this for a bedroom and it is well made. The size was perfect. I just did not care for the stripe upon seeing it in person. I have quilted bedspreads in my guest bedroom and it just seemed to add "busy-ness" to the decor with the stripe. I think it would work fine in most people's homes. It just was a style miss for me.
