Works great for my dogs! My one pug ran full speed into this thing & it bounced her back a couple feet. It was hilarious. My other pug is much smarter & figured out how to get under it. :/ One day she tried to claw it down & got her nail stuck. This was stressful & not funny. But now neither one of them will get overly close to it! It can be a little finicky to roll up, but if you keep it level & go slow, it works great every time. I move it 4+ times per day & even when it is soaked with rain, it is easy to move. I am so grateful for this "mesh gate" it keeps my dogters in the yard & gives me peace of mind.

We love our driveway guard and say that we are rich with a "gated" driveway! We have a steep driveway and needed a barrier for our young children so they didn't ride their bikes into the road. It is working out very well and we love the fact that it retracts. We have found that it even works great for saving balls. Definitely worth the money. Initially was a little tricky to retract, but if you do it at the correct angle it works great.

The overall concept of this is really good, and the measurements are right in the title so I should have known, but if you have a wider than standard two-car driveway this won't really fit. Overall the 'fencing' is pretty flimsy once its rolled out, and it doesn't really stop faster moving or smaller balls (I have small kids, we use smaller little tykes basketballs and such at the moment) and those often just sneak right under which kid of defeats the purpose. Rolling it back in is also quite the hassle, you really have to direct its every move to keep it from getting tangled or 'clogged' and having to unroll it a little to adjust sometimes needs to happen. Its also kind of an eyesore if you leave it out, but it does pop out easily to store in the garage if needed. I don't know, I'd say the price is a little high for what it is, it works most of the time as intended, we've found ourselves not using more often than using it because its kind of a hassle, but while some balls get under the net depending on size it does deter kids from biking into the street and that's another reason I bought it. (well.... some kids :) others see the net as a challenge and want to see if the net will "catch them" eh-he-hem, little boys) I don't think I'd personally purchase it again myself.

Reviewing after one day. So far it appears to be well built, though I wonder how the mesh will hold up under continuous outdoor use. I like that the in ground pipes are just standard schedule 40 PVC. Quality choice, made in the USA, easily customized and replaced. It's easy to use, and the black version looks pretty good. One star off because I think the top and bottom could be made semi-rigid, which would keep things from going under (like my smallest dog), and look neater. Regarding the retraction mechanism, which I've seen complaints about. It works fine. It says it is designed to go slow, for safety, but it also requires you to keep it aligned to retract properly. Ever roll up wrapping paper? The slightest misalignment causes it to walk up or down the roll. Same with this (that's physics, for you!), but it is actually pretty forgiving, and once you see it happening, just adjust and move on. Same star off because in making it semi-rigid, you could also make it guide the roll in. I would recommend it.

This is a cheap product. It does not work for what it is intended for. The net would not stand up on its own no matter how tight it was, and kept falling over. Even with the ends connected to posts in the ground, there was always slack and it did not prevent items from getting past it and into the street. It was a waste of money. The pipe on the end bent when an object rolled into the net and the item was no longer it its original condition. The need to return it in its original packaging and condition is also ridiculous. One cannot test it out without taking it out of its original packaging and be expected to return it in its original condition. The fact that it would cost more to return the item than just buy a new item is also ridiculous - having to pay for shipping and a restocking fee.

I’ve been looking for an alternative to something “permanent” for keeping our birds in our yard. I was thinking of so many ways to put up a net or fence without having to install a gate. I don’t like feeling fenced in and this thing works perfect. I can easily let it roll back up in the mornings when cars leave and in the evening when cars come home. Set up was a breeze. I used a metal pipe to pre hole the dirt and the pvc went right in snug on both sides. Did what the instructions said, put a slight lean on the end and it stays tight across the top with no droop. Birds can’t walk out, humans can walk over, everyone is stoked on it. It says not for pets, but I don’t see my ducks or chickens bulldozing themselves through it anytime soon. It’s pretty sturdy. So so glad I found it!! I may order more to section off certain parts of the acreage so we can rotate birds around. Let birds roam like God intended! Just keep ‘em safe :)

We use this item daily to close a pedestrian alley that our students walk past to get to our playground. It is opened and closed multiple times per day. From day one, the top of the net has sagged and not been taught. When it retracts, it only pulls in part way and we have to manually roll the netting. It does not pull in evenly on the roll. Because of the sagging, it ends up bunched at the bottom. We are searching for a better option.

Little overpriced in my opinion but honestly if you need a driveway that you need to drive when it works well easy to put up and take down I have PVC in the ground and I bring this out of my garage and put up when the kids want to play ball works great just make sure when you real it up you wind it slow and try to keep it even

Perfect for across the driveway

We are currently using this as a fence between town houses and it works great. The kids are not easy on it and it holds strong!

Disappointed in that the item is not as sturdy as hoped for purpose of keeping dogs safe behind.

It's a we bit flimsy but for what it is it is , a good visual barer
