Can this be used on indoor bonsai?

Yes, this fertilizer can be used on indoor bonsai. However, since indoor bonsai are watered less than outdoor bonsai, we recommend that you use more fertilizer, or use a supplemental liquid fertilizer once a week during the growing season.

Can I use this with my usual NPK 4+6+6 liquid fertilizer or will doing so overdose my tree. It's a medium sized Chinese elm about 13 years old.

How do you use the pellets? Pop in soil or use baskets and water through basket?

I have used these pellets for years, the best results are from scattering them on the surface of the compost, then every time it rains or is watered a small amount of feed is released. personally I use these for my Bonsai I place a ring of them around the pot (about 50mm apart) this has worked very well over he last 20 years or so.

I use them once a month during growing season, if the pellets are still smelling I wait longer. Feed them in autum too
