People complain that it doesn’t fit the FlexStyle… that’s correct. The title says SpeedStyle, so that’s what it fits. I found the attachment a bit fussy to attach but once I got it on, it did exactly what I hoped and planned. People with long hair—this is not the attachment for you to do a blowout. This is for shorter hair or shorter layers. I use it to dry my curtain bangs and it’s perfect. It would certainly get caught if I tried to use it to round brush the longer layers. I use it for a short period of time on short sections of hair. The blow dryer to which it is meant to attach is fantastic, and it seems to know which setting is best for each attachment, as it automatically adjusted both the fan speed and heat setting when I attached the brush. As I mentioned above, the attachment was a bit fussy to put on. Because it rotates easily, you can’t just pop it on. You need to depress the attachment button, slide it into the catches, and then release the attachment button. It might take a try or two to get the hang of it. It releases quickly and easily every time. I tried an off-brand brush that didn’t rotate but I returned it because it 1. got too hot to touch and 2. was awkward to use because it didn’t rotate (meaning I had to rotate the entire blow dryer to move the brush. Good value for an attachment that should have come with the SpeedStyle in the first place. If you read the title carefully, you won’t be surprised by it not fitting an appliance not mentioned in the description.

You spin it yourself. The hair dryer doesn’t spin it. It’s awkward and doesn’t do a great job. Awkward and difficult to use. Debating if I should return it.

This is a great tool for the Shark Speed Style hairdryer. The description states that it is ONLY for the Speed Style. Some of the other reviews state that it does not fit the Flex Style. The express style tool spins while connected to the dryer, which makes a blowout super simple. I would definitely suggest this tool to anyone who has the Speed Style.

This barrel attachment is excellent. It fits my shark hair dryer perfectly and it’s easy to remove and put back on. I like to use this after drying my hair 90% and then I use this attachment to do a blowout. I like that I can twist and hold on to the end of the barrel and it doesn’t get hot. It’s easy to remove hair from the bristles which is a plus. Overall I really like my hair dryer and this attachment is great, I use at least once a week.

I paid for a new attachment instead of the “used” option and I still got delivered a used one with hair from the previous owner.

I'm in LOVE with the Shark blowdryer and received it with three attachments for Christmas. The only other attachment I wanted was this one as my hairdresser blows my hair out with a rounded brush. I struggle to make my hair look as good as she does but was hoping this would solve the problem. It works okay in my opinion. I feel like you get better results just using a round brush and the blowdryer though so I wouldn't purchase it again.

I bought this unknowing if it would fit my shark style flex - it did not. I wanted to have a smaller head for mine, still haven’t found a one. I could not find a single review about it so if you’re wondering the same thing, here’s the answer :)

I thought this would allow me to straighten my hair with the shark dryer but it's really awkward to use compared to the dryer I have already with a built in brush. Takes two hands to keep it from spinning and it doesn't grab my layered hair well so my hair ends up flying everywhere in a frizzy mess. I never use this attachment and wish I hadn't bought it.

The connection end was two big for my Shark , ordered direct from Shark website and was half the price.

This item is not compatible as described and is practically impossible to return. I am left with an item that is no good to me and £56 out of pocket
