Typical Hobart quality
Works great, as does any Hobart wire I have ever used. For those not familiar with wire welding, there are two basic types for welding steel. Gas shielded, which uses gas flowing from an Argon (or other acceptable gas) to shield the weld from impurities, and gasless, also known as flux cored, where the shielding agent is contained in a flux that is held in a tiny hollow within the wire. The advantages of gas shielded welding include lower cost per weld (after the initial higher cost of purchasing the shielding gas bottle) and not having slag to chip off the welds. Gasless welding has the advantage of being able to work in windy situations, and is good for people who don't weld a lot, because it does take a certain amount of welding before you recoup the cost of the gas bottle compared to buying flux cored wire. In windy situations, the sheilding gas can be blown away from the weld, causing moisutre and oxygen in the air to penetrate the molten metal of the weld before it solidifies, which can result in a porous (weakened) weld. Flux cored wire causes the shield to be right on top of the weld (flux, which turns to slag) as the weld is being formed, and is unaffected by any kind of wind any sane person would be welding in. Flux cored welding is also simpler, there is no gas bottles to deal with, or valves and regulators to adjust, etc. Just adjust the welder voltage and wire speed and go.I do the maintanence and repairs for a farming operation, and I have a heavy-duty gas shielded wire welder inside the shop, and generally use a smaller portable welder, with flux cored wire, for my field repairs, or for things that are not practical to carry indoors. Since I bring everything I can into the shop, Even though my portable welder can hold a 10 pound spool, I don't use a lot of flux cored wire, hence the smaller spools. Not only that, but if you have to lug a 60 pound welder up a scaffolding to weld something on top of a tractor or combine, a 10 pound spool of wire just adds to the dead weight I have to lift. Also, it is important not to stockpile too much wire, because you definately want to use it up before it gets any rust on it. I like that these are wrapped in plastic, which will help them 'keep' longer. Overall, a good quality product, that is a little cheaper when you buy the dual pack, than if you were to buy two single packs.

It works!
Seems good. I have only run one other welding wire and thats the free spool of sample wire that Hobart sends with there welder and that was the E71T-GS which is a bit different Im told then actual E71T-11 spec. I guess GS is crappy spec wire but I couldnt tell a difference but Im not a pro welder either. Also E71T-11 can be used for multipass and all position wire and E71T-GS is single pass only. If ur gonna spend the money for good wire like this I would just buy Lincoln Innershield welding wire.

Great flux wire
This flux wire is great. At times the smoke can block my view of the puddle so I use a small fan to keep it away. It might be my imagination but it seems to spatter less. Although I also bought a new welder at the same time. My old welder worked fine but was limited to 3/16 inch. The new welder is a Hobart 140 and might have something to do with less spatter.Regardless this is now my go to flux wire when I need some. Oh .030 was the size I used.

It worked great and seems to feed way better then that crap ...
I got two 2lb spools, I bought it for my cheep 90A harbor freight flux core special to do exaust work on the jeeps , It worked great and seems to feed way better then that crap that comes with the HF welder.

Good wire at a good price.
Good value on some multi-pass rated FC wire. For best performance, use it in a DC out wire feeder. Some inexpensive wire feed welders output AC and will spatter more. I have both AC and DC wire feed welders. Good penetration, easy to control and easy slag removal. The only complaint i have for this wire is the slight tendency to bird nest if you happen to burn back the wire to the tip. Blue Demon and Lincoln FC wire do this a lot less. i received two rolls July 2015.

Top notch flux-cored wire
EDIT -- in 2013 Amazon apparently had a major issue with warehouse folks splitting apart multiple-unit packages and shipping them off individually. You may have noticed that stickers started appearing on these products that said something to the effect of them being multi-unit items to be sold together. My initial review took issue with this, since the product was not being sold as described. With this edit, I am deleting the earlier comments and changing the rating to 5 stars. This is a great product, giving a pretty clean and easy weld for a flux-cored wire. While I have started using gas, I keep this on hands when I want or need to use flux-core wire.

Fantastic flux-cored wire!
This really is great flux-cored wire for welding. If you are less fortunate and can't afford a gas-ready mig and a gas bottle, then this is for you. My welder originally came with some lesser-known name wire and the results of welding weren't favorable. Instead of buying a new MIG I decided to try this wire and to my surprise it was a world of difference! The weld quality is much better albeit not perfect, but definitely acceptable.

awesome
At age 45, I awoke and decided to stop putting off my dream of welding art. I was a bit intimidated at first, but this equipment works like a dream. And in under a month Ive sold my first peace of art.

indistinguishable from Lincoln NR211MP
nothing really to dislike, reasonable price for 2 lb spools, no issues welding with it, I couldn't tell the difference between this and Lincoln Electric stuff. Would buy again but will only be buying 10 lb spools going forwards, just a much better value.
