Not for all controller
I'm glad I'm using Joy-Cons because they will fit any position. However, if another controller is not the same size, they give you four pieces, and you can put two of them together if you need to be precise.

sturdy but kind of works for xbox controllers
its very sturdy and good quality however the joysticks for a ps controller or Nintendo will work perfectly but for xbox it will not as it will lean to the side as the joysticks on xbox controllers and different.
