Great Chiles and Service
I used these Pasilla chiles in a mole negro sauce recipe with braised pork. These Pasilla chiles were excellent with a great texture, taste and aroma. The mole sauce I made from them was delicious with the deep, dark color that I associate with mole negro. Why order them on line? I was planning the dish for a dinner party when I discovered that I couldn't get the Pasilla chiles locally (I live 100+ miles from the nearest city). When I found them on Amazon, I ordered them keeping my fingers crossed that they would arrive in time for me to prep for my 6 p.m. dinner party. When they arrived at 2 p.m., in perfect time for my dinner prep, I was delighted.

Fresh, soft peppers
These arrived on time and are so much higher quality than you'll find in a grocery store. I used to buy my peppers all the time in a grocery store when I lived on the west coast. Now I'm in NC and you can't find them locally very often. Even if I could, I'm buying all my peppers from here going forward. Looking forward to some Birria beef tomorrow!

Great quality chilies.
I have purchased a lot of chiles from Rico Rico and their quality is always great. I use these chiles to make homemade enchilada sauce and Salsa Negra. The chiles are usually perfectly dired, still flexible and full of flavor. I highly recommend Rico Rico chiles.

Great for tacos!
Great to have on hand when we make tacos! Fresh and a good amount comes in the back for the price! I can't find these in our typical American grocery store so great that we can get it here.

Very good quality peppers
While it's hard to beat the flavor of peppers you've grown and dried yourself, these are a GREAT option. They were mostly intact, just one or two peppers that came kind of broken apart (shipping will do that). They offer a wonderful depth of flavor to a variety of dishes, though we use them mainly for chili and Mexican foods. They rehydrated very well, too.
