How do you reset yale alarm

I think there is a tiny hole with a button behind it for resetting the device. Using an opened up paper clip push the button through the hole holding it down for a few seconds

I have the odd mouse in my shed. Would they set off the alarm?

There are mice in mine and even an occasional frog! Neither has set it off so far.

Ext power supply: What is the current demand? There is a socket for a 4.5 V supply.

I've been running mine for about 7 years using a small transformer into the low voltage socket. The red 'low power' light is on all the time. It works perfectly and I don't have to mess about changing batteries.

Don't know never opened my shed in the dark but would assume so.
