Worx cordless battery lawn mower is superb!
Superb mower. Purchased to replace a self propelled petrol lawnmower. I was very sceptical on the purchase wondering if it would be powerful enough for the +400sq/m of uneven course lawn. I purchased some additional 4Ah batteries for around £45 and found that 2 charge covered +430sq/m with no issue. It’s easier to push than a self propelled mower by a long way. Lightweight & powerful. Assembly is literally 5 mins with no tools needed. Easy to change height. Easy to fold up. Ok it’s not a brushless motor and will wear out, but for the price it’s well worth the money and will last a few years easy. Some reviews suggest the 30L bag is small. I don’t agree as the handle and build quality make it easy to empty. I have several Worx tools garden & diy. You cannot go wrong with them!

Good all round.
My son put it together so I can't say how that was. I have a large back garden lawn. It is also full of weeds and is not very level in places and a bit damp cos it has rained constantly for weeks and some of the lawn is under dripping trees. It was my first cut this year ( yeah am lazy lol) and was very long but this mower powered through it better than my electric one. It is still fully charged even tho I was mowing for ages. It's great not getting tangled up in cables. My only beef with it is it doesn't edge lawn that is against anything, such as a stone path that is highter than it or a wall. It does if the lawn edge is next to a flower bed. I found it fairly easy to manovere but it is harder in a tight space as it is very long. I think it s a good middle budget lawnmower and the batteries don't take long to charge. Right off to do the front now.

Meets requirements for larger than average grass areas.
Needed a replacement for ancient corded Bosch lawnmower. After checking reviews decided on Worx WG779E.2 40v 34cm cordless. Having used it I can say I am very satisfied. The batteries have more than enough life to cut our rear garden grass and front grass too - and have enough left in them to cut next door’s front grass too. Assembly was very easy and height adjustment is easy to operate. I particularly like the way in which it folds compactly when not in use and therefore fits into a small storage area. So far I would recommend.

Worth It!
I was sceptical at first with cheaper models but it was worth it. Easy to put together, very robust handle and good for lefties like me. The build quality doesn't feel cheap and it is not noisy at all. Mowing with the annoying power cable is a thing of the past now. I would recommend getting a second set of batteries like most battery operatred devices like this. Overall I am happy with this product.

Brilliant
Purchased this in jan 21 as an Amazon good as new- left until now to ensure I could give a trustworthy review. It arrived in original packages and don’t think it had ever been used. It was fairly straightforward to assemble. We have a fairly large garden but it is mainly made up of small patches of grass and grass paths this lawnmower has been perfect - it’s light and manouvreable - initially I was a bit disappointed on the length of cut but now I’m used to it I actually think it’s better not so harsh on the grass. I cut the lawn this morning (November) it was soaking but it cut it without problem- usually takes me about 1/2 an hour and the batteries are fine for this with the first cut of the year I do have to charge half way through which is the only downside as they do take a while to charge. They are stored inside and I usually charge them when I’ve finished mowing ready for next time. Highly recommend this product.

Mixed opinion of good and bad
I have very much a mixed review on this lawn mower. Firstly I do love the ease of a battery operated lawn mower. It's much easier and more convenient than a wired mower or a hefty petrol mower. The lighter weight offers much greater portability than some larger units on the market. It has a nifty little handle which is helpful however I find the placement forces the load off balance when carrying which is manageable but cumbersome. The batteries charge in good time and have a reasonable run time. They will comfortably cut a moderate size garden with short to medium length lawn. If your lawn is on the larger side, be mindful you may not get it all cut in one battery cycle. The speed and accuracy of the cut is also good. I've found that it doesn't take constant back and forth to cut compared to some other leading brand mowers. It cuts relatively close to the edge but does not mitigate against the requirements of a strimmer. It comes with a large grass collection bucket on the rear that holds an impressive volume of grass, meaning the frequency of emptying isn't half as much as I expected which is a favourable plus. My biggest concern with the mower surrounds the potential quality. I have found that my mower is constantly " ramping up " when it's on normal operation. (Please see attached video). Even when the grass is a short length and the ground is even, the motor constantly sounds like it's starved of power and revving up. I'm not certain whether this is an intended design feature, however it certainly sounds as though the motor is struggling, which is far from ideal. Apart from the off centre handle and ramping up and down the motor, I find the until pleasing overall but because of the negatives; I would be unable to rate it higher. I would recommend with the recommendation of reporting any motor issues in good time and during the warrant period where applicable.

It cuts a bit too high (grass not short enough)
Before I bought, I did lots of research on this and many other mowers. If I'm honest, I can't recommend it because at heart, I'm disappointed. Despite it having a few height settings, the lowest one is disappointing because it only cuts for a few seconds then it grinds to a halt. The next higher setting is OK, but doesn't cut the grass as short as the lower setting would (if it worked). Pointless. CUTS TO EDGE? - NO IT DOES NOT!! I therefore bought another Worx cutter (along with a long handle thing, which Worx no longer makes [because it's inadequate?]) specifically to cut the grass edge. I'm disappointed. The new cutter is fine for trimming the hedge but doesn't cut through the grass edge either! So, I spoke to Worx and all they now tell me I need a strimmer!! That's another piece of equipment I have to buy! The descriptions of their tools claim to do things that they obviously do not do. Worx's attitude to customer service is poor. They aren't bothered about after sales service. The batteries last well. The mower is pretty quiet. The mower is lightweight. BUT if it doesn't cut to the edge then it doesn't do what Worx says it should do (and I'm now forced into buying a strimmer - even though I also already have a trimmer which is supposed to do grass edges - and it doesn't cut them either). TIP: AVOID WORX.

Perfect for small/medium lawns up to 100m2. A huge improvement over standard cable lawnmower
Really like this lawnmower. I bought it primarily as I was fed up getting the multiple extension cables out and having to cut the grass around them. I got it with the grass strimmer to do the edges. Front garden and verge = 30m2 ish, perimeter is approx 40m Back garden = 60m2 ish, perimeter is approx 32m I have the combination of 2x 20v 2Ah batteries and can JUST about get the whole area cut AND the edges trimmed. The conditions for getting the batteries to last, for both cutting and trimming, is that it is only 1-2 weeks of growth and completely dry. If the grass is nice and dry then the batteries will last no problem. A section of the back garden was a little damp this weekend and the lawnmower went into boost mode a few times to power through it. When I went to do the front, it only just lasted long enough. The lawnmower is definitely suited more for smaller gardens with relatively well kept grass. I have a lot of moss in the front garden and the lawmower cannot cut through it on the lowest setting. I have cut it to the second lowest then the lowest and the lawnmower still struggles to get through the moss. It is simple to use and operate. The basket collects enough so I only have to empty it 3 times in total. As I use the same batteries on the same charge for the strimmer too, it is fair to say this lawnmower could manage lawns up to 100m2, provided they are mostly dry and not too long. Even with the batteries struggling to manage both lawns with the strimming, the advantage of being able to just roll out the lawnmower and start cutting, without the hassle of setting up all the cables, makes it well worth it.

Small cutting width but quiet enough & does what it needs to
Much smaller than I would have expected but does the job. I live in a semi-detached house & the first cut I couldn't get all the way done with one charge of the two batteries because of how thick the grass was. The second time through I got the whole yard done on one charge.
