Great device so far
This reader has a lot of functions to help you determine what is going wrong with your vehicle before calling the shop. Will definitely help to determine if you can do it yourself. Helped me save time and money, definitely paid for itself by the second use. I highly recommend

Great benz scanner!
Purchased the MB v2.0 to troubleshoot intermittent electrical and battery drain issues w/ my ML350. The device quickly pointed to a corroded rear SAM module. Successfully repaired the device and saved tons of $$$. I’ll be testing the SERVICE features soon on my GL550. Pros: 1. Quickly reads all Benz CAN relays, modules & sensors. Also identifies part number & install date. 2. Price & Value vs other devices 3. Real time performance monitoring w snapshots 4. Labels faults as Historic or Current. Good for troubleshooting intermittent issues. Cons: 1. Doesn’t report a list of faults only and/or categorize issues by severity 2. Cant reset engine or transmission adaptations. No 2way component testing. 3. No touchscreen 4. Poor documentation - feature coverage & use Conclusion: I recommend this code reader for troubleshooting, vehicle inspection and maintenance. It’s provides competitive features and will cover most DIY or small shop needs. 2nd choice was the Foxwell 530 which offers very similar features but adds light programming & test capabilities for a higher price. My 3rd choice was the Autel Maxi.

Best in the market even when compared to competitions that are 2x to 3x its price.
Best in the market even when compared to competitions that are 2x to 3x its price. Complete compatibility with my car GL450. Reads even the hidden codes buried deep in the benz computer. A friend told me (google) there are only a few that can outperform this device and they are all in the multiple fold price of this device. Today, I'm leaving this feedback because it just paid for itself in one use by multiple folds. My car wouldn't respond at all to my smart-key other than the unlock/lock. I'm a shade-tree-wannabe mechanic with my friends (google & youtube) as my consultants. None were able to point me in the correct direction. Except this device. It said EIS low voltage. Sure enough, my battery and accessory battery were both 12.1v only. My initial reaction were it couldn't be correct because 12.1v in my limited experience is still a workable voltage. Then my friend (google) said NOPE, not with this car. Battery change shot up my voltage up to 12.66v. Fixed the problem immediately. BTW, the dealership gave me this quote: $200 diagnostic $300 additional key to rule out key problem $150 to tow my car with special tow truck because car isn't shiftable to neutral therefore can't be towed by "regular" guys. $1500 for the EIS part because they are sure it's the EIS because it's a "common" problem with this model $800 for the labor $$$ tax 4-7 days turn around time. ------------ Sums up to: an Arm and a Leg. Which is equivalent to $XM. Compared my cost with this device: $180 Battery replacement $20 Accessory battery replacement $Tax 3 hours total troubleshooting time and installation. This device's cost is not added to this instance because it'll be used for unlimited number of times. If I get to use this 150 times, then per usage cost is $1 only which is negligible, hence not added to the cost.

Works well to reset SRS light on 2002 Mercedes E320 4matic wagon.
User interface was intuitive so I didn’t need tech support. Wagon has under hood 38 pin connector for SRS system so I needed that adapter as well. Bought both at the same time. With the system plugged in and the car running I scanned the SRS modules. Nothing was actually wrong because I had triggered the light myself while changing my turn signal mast. Scanning the modules cleared the light.

Grabage for a Gadget
That is a complete piece of garbage.....When i first recived it, the micro sd card was corrupt and not working....kept telling me "Link error"....jumped on chat GPT only to find out they use a cheap chinese "budget friendly" micro sd cards.....I went and bought a decent micro sd card, got on the website to do a software update, started to use it and it`s not giving me jack about the main purpose of buying it which is to identify the SRS message on my benz....I reset it several times but to no avail....the srs error is still on my dashboard, no codes were given as to why the light is on.... what good is this piece of junk good for?...I was ready to buy another dedicated one for my Range Rover but NEVER this Icarsoft trash anymore......Regrettable purchase.

Effective tool
Good tool for Mercedes owners. If you have to remove the passenger seat to change the battery, and you will, you'll be able to reset the srs warning light on the annunciator no problem.

Underwhelming on a 2008 ML320CDI, did the task I needed but many things don't work or aren't listed
I was looking at the range of these MB II MBv2.0 MB3.0 tools from iCARSOFT. Decided to go with this one because it was on-sale more than the others. Got it pretty fast. Updated the firmware using the tool downloaded from their website. Fairly easy update process. Plugged into my 2008 ML320CDI that had popped an SRS code after I pulled the driver seat (without connecting the battery) while looking for any moisture ingress. Was able to see the code pretty easily, and clear it. Looked deeper and yes the device can see a lot of the other vehicle modules...however...NO info beyond the basic stuff displayed by any scan tool for the ECM. It won't show DPF status or anything. My $12 ELM bluetooth dongle and Torque App can see all the same stuff. WILL NOT do a DPF regen cycle...just shows the error message displayed in my review. This may come in handy if something throws a fault or you're trying to diagnose an intermittent issue with the vehicle...or maybe use on a different year of MBZ...but for the 2008 ML320CDI it's kinda kneecapped. One of their more basic scanners that can see the modules would be a better value. The extra features on this one don't really function for this vehicle.

Works great so far!
Out of the box, I really liked this code reader. I have both a W210 and a W251 chassis vehicle, and had low expectations on reading the W210. But for the W251, this reader has so far already been helpful in diagnosing an air conditioning failure, reading the refrigerant pressure and providing more detail than I could diagnose without a trip to the shop. It also is picking up minor faults on ancillary systems not triggering a CEL, like hatch sensors, which is immensely helpful. The unit seems to be built fairly well, the buttons seem durable, the menus are tolerable to navigate. The manual is not especially helpful or well written, so I had to learn as I went. Hopefully I won't destroy anything while tinkering, but so far I have figured out how to read the OBDII codes, read other system's codes, store these codes on the included memory card, and then recall them afterwards to see what projects I have soon. The unit paid for itself almost immediately, since I was able to tell my mechanic exactly what services I need performed, so from here on out I'm calling it just a bonus. That was all for the W251, though. If you have a W210, don't expect too much - it reads the OBDII functions through both the OBDII port and the 38-pin port, but I couldn't get the unit to read any of the other features besides that. Disappointed, but it wasn't unexpected. Overall, I am very pleased so far, and hope this unit continues to inform me about enough minor issues to make it worth the expense. It's so much less expensive than a STAR reader or some of the more high end scanners that it's almost foolish not to get this unit, and I am happy to have purchased the M-B specific model instead of the multi-car model, which seemed like it would be a compromise in terms of being able to read all key subsystems of the M-B vehicles. At this price point compared to shop costs, I'm fine buying another one if I get another brand of vehicle in the future.

Highly Recommend!
Highly recommended. Works perfect manual explains setup and all the functions and was very easy to use. High quality code reader like the shops use. Used it for Benz ML350 and had pretty much all of the codes. Some are manufacture specific that don’t show up but everything else was perfect. Took the my vehicle to a repair shop for a diagnose after and they had the same codes and code reader. Great product for the price really breaks down the codes. Was specifically looking for speed sensor codes and was able to actually finally diagnose which specific tire speed sensor was failing not the generic code so was super helpful cause the speed sensors are expensive. If this is your issue I highly recommend it. Else still an awesome code easy to use and very helpful and detailed code reader

Perfektes Diagnosesystem

Mercedes OBDII Scanner
This scanner did the job of reading and clearing all codes on my Mercedes when cheaper scanners couldn't. A necessary tool if you're doing work yourself. For old cars with a round OBDII connector you will need the iCarSopft adaptor as other brand adaptors don't work.
