Great benz scanner!
Purchased the MB v2.0 to troubleshoot intermittent electrical and battery drain issues w/ my ML350. The device quickly pointed to a corroded rear SAM module. Successfully repaired the device and saved tons of $$$. I’ll be testing the SERVICE features soon on my GL550.Pros:1. Quickly reads all Benz CAN relays, modules & sensors. Also identifies part number & install date.2. Price & Value vs other devices3. Real time performance monitoring w snapshots4. Labels faults as Historic or Current. Good for troubleshooting intermittent issues.Cons:1. Doesn’t report a list of faults only and/or categorize issues by severity2. Cant reset engine or transmission adaptations. No 2way component testing.3. No touchscreen4. Poor documentation - feature coverage & useConclusion:I recommend this code reader for troubleshooting, vehicle inspection and maintenance. It’s provides competitive features and will cover most DIY or small shop needs. 2nd choice was the Foxwell 530 which offers very similar features but adds light programming & test capabilities for a higher price. My 3rd choice was the Autel Maxi.

Best in the market even when compared to competitions that are 2x to 3x its price.
Best in the market even when compared to competitions that are 2x to 3x its price.Complete compatibility with my car GL450. Reads even the hidden codes buried deep in the benz computer.A friend told me (google) there are only a few that can outperform this device and they are all in the multiple fold price of this device.Today, I'm leaving this feedback because it just paid for itself in one use by multiple folds. My car wouldn't respond at all to my smart-key other than the unlock/lock.I'm a shade-tree-wannabe mechanic with my friends (google & youtube) as my consultants. None were able to point me in the correct direction. Except this device. It said EIS low voltage. Sure enough, my battery and accessory battery were both 12.1v only. My initial reaction were it couldn't be correct because 12.1v in my limited experience is still a workable voltage. Then my friend (google) said NOPE, not with this car.Battery change shot up my voltage up to 12.66v. Fixed the problem immediately.BTW, the dealership gave me this quote:$200 diagnostic$300 additional key to rule out key problem$150 to tow my car with special tow truck because car isn't shiftable to neutral therefore can't be towed by "regular" guys.$1500 for the EIS part because they are sure it's the EIS because it's a "common" problem with this model$800 for the labor$$$ tax4-7 days turn around time.------------Sums up to:an Arm and a Leg. Which is equivalent to $XM.Compared my cost with this device:$180 Battery replacement$20 Accessory battery replacement$Tax3 hours total troubleshooting time and installation. This device's cost is not added to this instance because it'll be used for unlimited number of times. If I get to use this 150 times, then per usage cost is $1 only which is negligible, hence not added to the cost.

Works well to reset SRS light on 2002 Mercedes E320 4matic wagon.
User interface was intuitive so I didn’t need tech support. Wagon has under hood 38 pin connector for SRS system so I needed that adapter as well. Bought both at the same time. With the system plugged in and the car running I scanned the SRS modules. Nothing was actually wrong because I had triggered the light myself while changing my turn signal mast. Scanning the modules cleared the light.

An OBDii with a semi useful feature or 2
G500,2002: for the price I figured if it can 1) read atf fluid levels and temperature 2) reset Air conditioner. Then it would be worth the money because that's how much it cost to diagnose this car. The company promises it can do all that and then suml. The reality is 1) it will read atf temperature but can not read atf fluid levels "which makes it so complicated to figure out even if you have atf dipstick". 2) will not reset Air conditioner, so don't believe them if they say they are not sure or "it should read it". Other than that it is just a regular obd reader. It can read and give a lot of pointless values ,which may make it seems fancy or useful to some but in reality it's just another obdii with an extra semi useful feature or two. If you want to fix your own complex mercede issues you really need a star system or something equivalent.Update: July 31st 2020:Actually this device is great. The problem was from my side. This device identified an issue I had with a speed sensor B49. I am amazed how it was able to pinpoint the issue.I changed the sensor and problem was solved. This is a $1200 job, buying this saved me over $1000!!!.And the transmission oul issue was spot on with this machine ,it showed me the transmission oil temperature and the dip stick showed the levels. I highly recommend this toolIt is a must for any mercedes owner. It will not do adaptation or delete historical errors. But for most problems this should be enough. If you have a major problem you need the star system.

Product not as represented
This item was not as represented and I have been communicating with the manufacturer for the past 6 weeks trying to resolve the issue for being compatible with my R129 utilizing their adapter does not provide the capability that it was advertised with and they say their engineers are working on a fix for it and I need to return it rather than continue waiting around for a engineers fix. It’s been beyond the 30 day window so i need to know what I must do to return it. They referred me back to the seller
