Unsure if mine was made wrong as there are multiple good reviews on this machine. However, the taper adjustment is all wrong. Even on the shortest taper my needles are hanging out very, very far, making it nearly impossible to tattoo with this machine unless I want to blow-out all my lines. I had an older version of this machine, and the casing on this new version is superior to the older version - feels more durable. I'm not sure how they could make a perfectly fine machine years ago, but royally mess up the taper. I still have the machine from years ago and barely spent $100 on it, and it still works great. I thought it was starting fall apart on me so I was going to replace it with the new one. Turns out I just needed to open up the old one and tighten the case. Its been too long to return this item, so I'm out a $100ish. Perhaps I can get a hold of the manufacturer to maybe replace the one I have and hope mine is just defective. I'm a full time tattooer, so this review is mostly for the real tattooers who totally understand you dont need the fanciest branded machine, and these Amazon available machines can do the job jist fine if you know how to tattoo. After reading all the reviews, and saw someone else mention the taper adjustment being too long, I believe the machine is a disappointment. I'll keep tattooing with my old version...that old version was a sneaky, cheap well-made machine.

This thing is a big boy when it comes to wireless tattoo machines. I think I can honestly say it's among the biggest I've seen for this type of thing. I personally find it to be a nice thing though as I like the heft. It is bundled in a nice little carrying case which I always appreciate. It also has an additional cord for if you run out of battery during your usage of it which is great since that means you won't run out of juice mid tattooing. Overall it is just a great product! Definitely would recommend it!
