GRAND PITSTOP Motorcycle Maintenance Stand, Portable & Compact Lift Stand Moto Jack, Adjustable Height for Chain Cleaning and Lubrication Easy to use

I’ve been using this maintenance stand for quite some time now and it’s been a great addition to my garage. It’s well made, feels sturdy and makes jobs like chain cleaning, lubrication and general maintenance much quicker and easier. The bike rolls smoothly on the stand and it has remained reliable after regular use. It’s compact, easy to store and excellent value for money. I’d definitely recommend it to any motorcycle owner.

Good to have and does do what it says but I think the way it holds up under the bike could be better as the lip is very small and I don’t think I’d trust it for taking the whole wheel off, which is a shame as that was the intention if needed in an emergency. Plus side is that it packs small and not too heavy for having on trips

I have a lowered NC750s and am having major issues with the length of the side stand which is now way too long. 99.9% of the time it's perilously perched at an almost upright position on the side stand (centre stand useless now)and the final straw came at a little village petrol station when a gust of unexpected wind blew her right over and down she went. Despite the fact there are numerous telescopic stands out there, none of them accommodate the stand sensor which is an absolute must for DCT bikes as it wreaks havoc if not working as it should..I purchased this marvelous piece of kit to use primarily as a temporary support when I need her to stay securely vertical for very short while so not only do I have it to do maintainance but also have an extra bit of piece of mind knowing that I haven't got to pick her hefty weight back up off the floor . So far, even though its being used in its alternate capacity and maybe not what it's been designed for ,its an absolute godsend and is very sturdy,solid and secure and small enough to be carried with ease....very impressed

It states that it will handle up to anything less than 220kg in total weight of bike, but it appears my approx 180kg bike is impossible to push in the device to lift up the bike to gain proper clearance of the rear tyre from the ground. So, Grand Pitstop makers need to state the maximum height allowed of swing arm clearance from ground, as I found trying to reposition it closer to attempt it made it impossible to push in the device. So, really this device is only good for lightweight bikes of 125cc or at most a 250cc bike, as to have a good chance of pushing the device to gain that necessary ground clearance to allow the free movement of rear wheel. I do not recommend this product

Nice idea but too clever for its own good, Well made, looks to be decent quality but it doesn’t work. When you try to use it instead of lifting the back wheel vertically off of the floor it pushes the tyre sideways so the whole back of the bike slides away to the side pivoting around the side stand. In effect a large motorbike is too heavy for this too, to work.. It might work on a moped or a small motorbike which are lighter, but for anything of a decent size and weight it a non starter.

Works as advertised, heavy duty steel, no issues not the greatest for a slick garage floor better for a rough driveway.

Attrezzo semplice e ben disegnato, permette di sollevare la ruota posteriore per la manutenzione della catena (pulizia e ingrassaggio, non lo consiglio per lavori più complessi). ATTENZIONE: oltre a seguire le istruzioni allegate (frenare la moto con l'apposita cinghia sulla leva dell'anteriore, posizionare i pad di gomma sotto il cavalletto laterale e sotto il sollevatore), occorre regolare la lunghezza del Moto Jack adattandola alla tipologia di moto. Il sollevatore arriva regolato alla massima estensione, che potrebbe essere eccessiva per le moto stradali (il piede resta troppo inclinato e scivola impedendo il sollevamento della moto): per la mia Honda (190 kg) è stato necessario regolarlo alla lunghezza minima (riposizionando il bullone sul foro più basso) e così facendo la moto si solleva senza problemi di alcuni centimetri permettendo il movimento della ruota. Considerando il prezzo contenuto, l'ingombro minimo (che permette di portarlo con sé per una manutenzione veloce), e la qualità costruttiva, ritengo il Moto Jack un'ottima alternativa al classico ma ben più ingombrante cavalletto posteriore.
