Everbuild 2-Part High Performance Wood Filler, Redwood, 500g

I have used this 2 part high performance wood filler before. It works very well and is easy to mix and when dry can be sanded.

After a recommendation from a good friend, I use this product to fill the joints, cracks and fissures in the table top I made, as shown in the photos. It sets really quickly, so don't mix too much at once or it will be rock hard before you've had time to spread it, but it's done a good job and was easy to sand within about 20 minutes of application.

Firstly, the good news. This filler is easy to use, sets very quickly - about 30 minutes, and can then be sanded, painted, drilled or stained. Now for the bad. It is very smelly, you need to work in a well-ventilated area. also, mixing the glue and hardener is a bit tricky. They say the ratio is something like a pea-sized bit of hardener compared to a golf ball-sized bit of filler. Who can guess that? I just use a large dollop of filler and add a small bit of hardener on top (I always buy extra hardener just to make sure I have enough). Another drawback is that you have no idea how thoroughly the filler and hardener are mixed. Nevertheless, I wouldn't be without this. It always sets hard, so I must be doing something right. I have even used it as glue because once set, it won't shrink or crack. All in all, this is expensive but worth it.

This had a fantastic result on my patio table. Now good as new. But must work quickly or it hardens and becomes unusable. When sanded down and painted it looked good as new, and has saved me from having to buy a new table.

It does what it says on the tin I could sand the hole down within 15 minutes where the old lock was removed from the door casing. Once the timber is repainted I don't think anyone could know there used to be a hole in the door frame.

Easy to use but I suspect I'll run out of hardener before the whole tin is used up. Best for big jobs where a large amount is used at once. Smells impressive so don't mix it in the kitchen.

Best two part filler ever , you have to be quick as it sets very soon after mixing !
