5’10, 140 lbs, I ordered a small in black.It’s very long in the legs and torso (I’ll need to hem, and might take it up some in the waist - there’s a lot of extra space in the back) but it will do the job. The fabric seams sturdy and stitching is well done.

The XL size runs small. I usually buy XL or XLT in Dickies for my husband. He is 6 ft. tall and 205 lbs., and wears a size 36 or large in pants. I purchased the XL in this brand and they were too tight (in the tummy area). Maybe these are sized as a "slim-fit" coverall. The quality and length is fine and I plan to re-order in the next size up. I hopes this helps.

I ordered the short sleeve version. However, I never used them, other than to try them on when they arrived. I had to return them to Amazon because they didn't fit right. I wear a size XL or 2XL in everything else, so for these I ordered the 3XL. They were still too small for me.For that reason, I'm giving them 4 stars (not true to size?). However, they seemed to be made of heavy construction, which is why I didnt rate them lower.

I think my partner was absolutely exhausted dealing with me ruining all of my clothes wrenching on cars all day. It's great for the summer and I've put it through the wash a few times. Word of advice, wash and soak a bit by hand with some oxyclean and before you send them through the laundry.

I have put this overall to work!, I've crawled thru attics, painted, and laid tile in them. Its held up to the work load, but it does not have the pass thru slit in the front pockets and that's a downer, I plan on having a friend make some alterations to them so I can access my pants pockets, like at lunch when i need to pull my wallet out. Also it does fit a bit smaller than the sizing so if you have doubts go larger. After a wash it "softens" up so wash it before you wear it and it wont be so stiff.
