Cool Sunglasses for Cool People
I don’t even know where to start. These glasses are the best starters if you want to get into Meta glasses. Very simple to use and has the very basic features that all Metas have. I bought them for purpose of being able to record at times when my phone is unavailable, but now I’m using them to listen to music while at work. Very lightweight so while I’m working, I can’t tell I have them on at times. Very fun to use and very comfortable. I really enjoy these sunglasses.

Very cool!
Very cool item. I love mine. Very lightweight. Simple to set up and use. I do wish the lens was tinted a tad darker but all things considered, a good item!

Ray-Ban Meta Glasses Review – Stylish, Functional, and Packed with Tech
I recently purchased two pairs of Ray-Ban Meta glasses—one with transition lenses and one with polarized lenses—and they’ve been a game changer for my daily life and content creation. Here’s a breakdown of my experience with both pairs and their features: What I Loved • Hands-Free Content Creation: These glasses have made it incredibly easy to record high-quality videos while keeping my hands free. As a content creator, I love giving my audience a first-person view of what I’m doing, and the ease of snapping photos or shooting videos on the go is unmatched. • Stylish and Discreet Design: The Wayfarer style is a timeless classic, and over 99% of people won’t even realize these are smart glasses. I get all the benefits of advanced tech without sacrificing style. • Polarized Lens Quality: The clarity of the polarized lenses is unreal. They block out the sun beautifully, especially in Florida’s intense sunlight, and make driving feel sharper and more vibrant. • Immersive Sound Quality: Listening to music and taking calls without earbuds is an incredible experience. The sound is immersive, theater-like, and subtle enough that people nearby won’t hear it. I even had a crystal-clear call with my dad, and he had no idea I was using glasses for audio! The Cons • Transition Lenses Fall Short Outdoors: While they’re great indoors, the transition lenses don’t adapt quickly enough to the Florida sun and don’t block out glare as effectively as polarized lenses. If you need strong sun protection, go for the polarized option. • “Hey Meta” Feature is a Letdown: This was the biggest disappointment. The voice assistant is unreliable and drains the battery rapidly. For example, when I asked it to delete a video, it looped endlessly without actually doing it. It also struggled with recognizing objects—I asked about a man-made mountain, and it gave me a completely inaccurate answer. I’ve since turned this feature off. • Battery Life with “Hey Meta”: With the assistant on, the battery drained by 10% for a 3-minute video. Turning it off drastically improved performance—only 1% battery drain for the same recording length. If you want the glasses to last all day, keep “Hey Meta” off. • Fit Needed Adjustments: Out of the box, the glasses were slightly heavy and slid down my nose. Adding nose pads resolved the issue and made them much more comfortable for extended wear. Overall Thoughts These glasses excel in hands-free convenience, exceptional call quality, and immersive sound, all wrapped in a stylish, discreet design. While the “Hey Meta” feature fell short and the battery life could be better with it enabled, turning it off made a world of difference. If you’re looking for stylish smart glasses that deliver high-quality content creation and audio, I highly recommend these—especially the polarized lenses. They’ve exceeded my expectations in so many ways and are now a daily essential for me!

Could be AMAZING, but 30-45 minutes of battery life using the features is disappointing at best.
The features of the Meta AI software paired with these glasses has a lot of promise! Being able to take a max of 3 minute video, pictures, asking Meta AI questions, listening and responding to texts and calls, music without earbuds. It's all there and as much as I tested those features all "work". When someone suggested I get these for a once in a lifetime vacation in order to document it without being glued to my phone I was intrigued. I felt I could walk around the cities and go on tours without holding my phone up for pictures or videos all the time. There is even the capability to live stream to Facebook or instagram included in the software, which I thought would be amazing to show family and friends that wouldn't be along for the trip. This has great possibilities in the future when we aren't dealing with such a limited battery life. Pros: Possibility of features are rich and easy to use. Lenses were dark, but not too dark for the AZ sun. Lenses were very clear as I could expect from RayBan. Even though I should have bought the Large instead of Regular, the fit was still comfortable. Cons: #1 and most important feature, battery life was dismal, I'll explain more below, but I got about 30-45 minutes of wearing them and they died after having been fully charged. #2 when the battery died, there was no warning that I could see or hear. #3 the weight was a bit uncomfortable, though I'd have lived with that were it not for #1. I bought these ahead of my trip to test them out. My test was to fully charge the glasses and the case, drive 8 freeway miles, walk through a store, checkout, and drive home. During that time I started out by manually engaging the video recording which ended at 3 minutes and then I started another recording. After the second recording I snapped a picture manually touching the button and it was great. Then I received messages that it read out loud for me and I responded to. I asked Meta 2 questions and got the basic responses as expected having not engaged the deeper research mode. I recorded another video. Then I was at the store and wore them in for a part of the trip, but removed them as it felt odd to be wearing sunglasses inside (dark grey lenses, not transitions). Out of the store in 15 minutes and put them back on for the walk to the car, triggering a video recording manually. Started the drive home and decided to test it playing my Apple Music for 1 song and the audio was great. Triggered another video as I neared my exit and then just drove with them on but without using functions. As I neared my destination I tried to trigger another video but there was no response. Placed them in the case and they began to charge and when they had booted back up noticed the battery was at 6%. Less than 45 minutes door to door and no extensive usage meant that if I were to use these on vacation I'd likely be charging them more than wearing them. If you buy them, keep this in mind when making that decision. If that works for you, great. But for me, I want something that will last longer like my watch or phone. Maybe the next generation or two will find power savings and technical enhancements.

More Useful Than I Expected
I wasn’t sure how much I would actually use these when I bought them, but they’ve turned out to be surprisingly useful. Being able to take photos and short videos hands-free is incredibly convenient, especially while traveling or exploring new places. The audio quality is excellent, they look like classic Ray-Bans, and they’re comfortable enough to wear all day. A fun piece of technology that I’ve ended up using much more than I expected.

Pretty Sweet Gadget
I’ve been using the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses for a couple weeks now, and I wanted to share my honest thoughts for anyone considering them. First off, the style is classic Ray-Ban—think Wayfarer vibes—which means they don’t scream “tech gadget” and look great whether you’re out and about or just running errands. They’re surprisingly comfortable too; I was worried about the weight or bulk, but after wearing them for a few hours, they felt light and didn’t pinch or slide down. The camera quality is pretty impressive for glasses—12MP photos come out sharp and clear in good lighting, and videos are smooth. Low-light shots aren’t perfect, but honestly, that’s expected from something this small. What I really like is how easy it is to capture moments hands-free, which is perfect when you’re on the go and don’t want to pull out your phone. Audio-wise, the open-ear speakers deliver clear sound for music and calls without blocking out your surroundings, which is great for safety. The microphones pick up my voice well during calls, even in noisy environments. The Meta AI assistant is a neat feature, though it’s still a bit hit-or-miss. Sometimes it understands me perfectly and helps with quick tasks like sending messages or checking the weather, but other times it struggles, especially with complex commands. I expect this will improve with updates. Battery life is decent—about 3 to 4 hours of active use—but the charging case really helps extend that to a full day. I do wish the battery lasted longer without the case, but it’s manageable. Overall, these smart glasses strike a good balance between fashion and function. They’re not perfect, but if you want stylish eyewear that also lets you capture photos, listen to audio, and interact with AI without pulling out your phone, they’re worth considering. Just be ready for some quirks as the technology continues to evolve.

Great but can do better
Originally bought these so I can make content like I've been seeing on TikTok. They worked perfect and exactly as I imagined what it would do. Although I stopped using them for content. I came to the unexpected realization that these glasses can record the memories I make instead of just grabbing my phone out to record the present and ruin the moment with a phone, I can just record them on my meta glasses without feeling a sense of guilt of taking my phone out. Although there is one thing I'd like to say about them and that would be the battery life on these, they tend to die out fast.

Good video/photo quality
Exactly as advertised, excellent video quality, only thing is maybe the “hey meta” doesn’t hear me sometimes but that’s about it, I only got it for the recording feature anyways
