I got these stormproof matches to put in my backpack that I take on hikes and mountain bike rides. I often find myself in remote locations where it would not be good to be stranded but if you can have a fire when nighttime comes it makes a world of difference, you'll have light and warmth and it might keep the beasties away! The matches are beefy and stay lit for a good amount of time and the waterproof container is good quality. The container has a striker on it too.

One of the basic Emergency Kit supplies !These would also be considered windproof as well. With the extra long match heads.

These are a necessity when we go hiking!

I haven’t used them yet but I figured they should work as advertised. I had to use electric tape to wrap the lid because of some cracking. I know they are waterproof but I can’t see letting any H2O get in to damage anything. Other than that, everything looks good and I put them in my survival kit along with my other fire starting tools.

This product is a great value and works just as well as anything else.

The 1st four matches broke instantly when i tried to light it up. I tested one by wetting it and it worked. It is nice to have as an emergency, i would suggest to purchase an extra one just in case. Overall i would recommend this to anyone.
