SoloCam S340, 3K Dual-Lens Solar Security Camera | 360° Coverage, Pan & Tilt, No Blind Spots, AI Detection & Tracking, Color Night Vision, No Monthly Fee, Built-in 8GB

I have multiple security cameras from different manufacturers. This camera is excellent. The picture quality is very good. The sound quality is fine and the set up is fairly straightforward. I had a slight issue on set up where I had to put both my phone and my router on 2.4 G network once I did that everything was set up perfectly. The PTZ is very responsive and the app is intuitive and very functional. The AI tracking of a person’s movement is spot on. I’m very pleased with this product and I will certainly order additional ones.

Great little home security camera. Easy to setup (the app walks you through everything and is very helpful) the video is clear and the range of vision is impressive. I like that it has local storage built in (as opposed to cloud storage) and I can wipe it whenever I want. The solar panel also seems to work well. Will probably buy another for my front yard in the coming months

These are the 2nd set of eufy cameras we purchased! --- Super Affordable! --- BEST purchase ever! --- The sense of security we have is priceless.Fortunately, we rarely ever need to review our camera footage, but the feeling of knowing our homes are under continual surveillance gives us peace of mind and security! *Esp. when my spouse is away and/or has to go out-of-town and when our rental home is vacant, and nobody is there to monitor it. (Being able to monitor the yard service worker and any other person/people who come onto the property is very helpful. You can see exactly how much time they actually work and anything else.)-The 1st set is installed on our house.-This S340 set is on our rental house.Currently, our rental is vacant. - It is awesome that we can monitor all cameras at multiple locations on one screen.*When tenants are there, we let them set the app to their ID/Password, so only they can see & monitor them.We have never needed to subscribe or pay any additional money. Our videos last a long time! (I believe customers can subscribe if they have a ton of footage and/or want videos saved indefinitely, etc... Our videos stay on our app for a long time! You can select to 'save' any videos that you don't want to be overwritten. You also can manually erase any/all videos, but it is not necessary. At some point, I believe any unsaved videos will be automatically overwritten. I can't remember how much memory these have. I think you can add an SD card, not positive.I am a 65yr old woman; I had no problem installing the cameras or the app and set-up process.We opted to buy the solar panels. I strongly urge anyone else to buy them also. We have never had to charge our cameras since I installed them over a year ago.We have never experienced a single issue with the cameras or solar panels.* I ordered a gutter clip to see if it would fit on our gutters. Unfortunately, our gutters are not compatible. If your gutters are compatible, the gutter mount makes installation super easy! It will save you from having to screw the camera mount and/or solar panel to your house. The camera mount is easy to install; there are 3 small screws. A template is included. It is a no-brainer, and fairly simple.The solar panel swivels. It either screws easily onto the camera or you can separately screw it onto your house. *(it comes with a short power cord if you attach it directly to the camera; a longer cord is included if you need to mount it away from the camera for optimal sunlight.*We had Ring & Arlo cameras before. Charging was a pain! Neither brand came close to the ease & reliability of these.(Note: In fairness, the other brand cameras were older models and we did not have solar panels for either of them.)Pros:-Easy Installation-Easy App Set-Up - Easy to navigate-Super Clear Picture-No need for subscription-Never need to charge battery (if you purchase solar panel)-Able to set camera to film at certain times/days or to only film humans and/or vehicles so animals, bugs, branches, leaves, etc. don't constantly set them off. Say you only want it to film animals, you can select that also.-You can set the camera alarm for specific times/days and activate a loud alarm sound and/or flashing light to go off.*If you accidentally forgot to disarm the alarm, whenever it goes off, a warning appears on your device(s). You can easily tap your screen to disarm it vs. having to anxiously fumble to find the app on your device while it is blaring!Cons:- I honestly can't think of any con! *(FYI: I am not being paid or rewarded in any way for this review.)The only con is that we didn't purchase eufy brand cameras from the very start. And that we didn't spend the extra $ for solar panels!Solar panels make ALL the difference in the world! Having to go up/down a ladder to retrieve and charge cameras was a royal PAIN, not to mention... super inconvenient and dangerous!------I will update this message and add video footage soon so that people can see how clear the images are in daytime and nighttime on each camera at multiple locations. (I will include the model of eufy camera we have on our house so people can compare the images between the two models. I think our other cameras are 4k but these S340 cameras are just as good!

So far, so good. Have had them only for about a week, but they have performed flawlessly. They have a decent range on wifi pickup(20-30 yards from base). Even with a weaker WiFi signal on one location, the camera still works perfectly. The picture quality is very good. The zoom and the 360 degrees viewing on demand is a plus. Night video is great.All in all, if you can do wifi connections, these are pretty good security cameras with easy installation.

Easy install. I like it so far. The app for it is not terrible to deal with. If you need additional installation instructions there's some guides and pictures on Google. I would buy another one, good value for the money. The motion detection works pretty good. The image quality on the app is perfect. This is a good camera for a DIYer that doesn't want to pay a membership fee. I have my camera mounted near the front door, but no issues with range or lagginess. I walked all the way to the end of my driveway with the camera before mounting it and it said wifi signal was still Great. 10/10

"No Blind Spots" does NOT mean that it detects Motion at 180 + degrees. The SoloCam S340 only detects the motion that is in front of where the camera is "looking". If you walk beside it or behind where it is facing, it won't detect you till you pass it. Once it does detect you, it can track you wherever you go as long as you set the tracking time to last longer. The Blind spot happens when you preset the camera to face one direction in your yard, then rest of your yard is basically a blind spot. Overall the camera is fine, and it can rotate quite a bit. But the older E30 has much better motion detection. Any motion visible to the BASE is detected regardless of where the camera is pointing. It then swivels the camera to track the motion... so that is real "no blind spot" action. I also like the bright flood lights, and the motion detection extends further away from the device compared to the S340. And it has the built in amplifier to better connect with the wifi and homebase. So.. the E30 camera quality is not as high as the S340, but in my book, it beats it in every other area of performance. (distance and speed of motion detecting, true 360 motion detection, flood light, but no battery.) I'd only buy the S340 again if I needed it away from any electrical source. The solar panel really does great. I have it under a tree and on the north side of the house and it only needs the sunset to keep it fully charged, even in the winter.

These cameras Work great! I've had 6 of these cameras for over 2-4 years. 2 at home. 2 at a rental, and 2 over at a barn that has internet beamed over a pretty long distance. Never have had connection problems, lense issues, or problems with Ai detection or charging them. I also have 2 door bell cameras and interior cameras. Alerts come in quickly and quality is pretty good. Price is a bit expensive but for the reliability I plan on using them in the future.

This camera is number 2 on my list of favorites. Only to the S4 by Eufy. The ease of setup and installation was a plus. The software and camera work flawlessly. The tracking feature is so much better than other cameras I have tried in the past. Along with better image quality. The price was the only thing that was holding me off from buying this earlier. But with Prime Days, I upgraded.

Excelente custo benefício: aSoloCam S340 é muito mais robusta que a SoloCam E30 - tenho ambas. A imagem da S340 é superior e a visualização dupla é um diferencial importantíssimo se a área a ser monitorada for um pouco extensa, pois a grande angular proporciona uma visualização mais próxima das pessoas, permitindo sua identificação.A captura de tela abaixo foi obtida a noite, na escuridão, somente com o infravermelho.Tem 8 Gb de memória interna e IA embarcada, mas uso com uma HomeBase 3 para ampliar a capacidade de gravação e melhorar as funções de IA.Vale MUITO a pena, recomendo!
