I've owned the very first version of this tool. Everything just works! and works REALLY well. It's so well thought out with the right power and ergonomics you can't help but be assured they have really field tested this over the years and improved on a a great platform and foundation. This is also the type of tool you'll own for a long time because they have come up with SO MANY USES for it. So, if you can, save your money up, it will cost around 22% more but you'll get a lifetime of use, more options, and be able to sell your previous model without a question if you move up to a newer model someday. You also get through to REAL people if you call them for advice of any kind. Dare I say this is one "Fein" company! Most highly recommended.

Great tool for a great price

This is my third 18 V cordless multi tool from fein. The first one lasted less than a year, the second one only lasted five months. The only reason that I bought a third one is because I have two batteries for the tool, once those batteries were out I will never buy another tool from them. I emailed the company about the problem with the tool and I got no reply. I get the impression once you buy the tool you’re on your own

The fein are quite and have less vibration and very quick to change the blades

My 2008 lasted until 2021. My 2021 should make it to 2034 with almost twice the power and half the vibration.
