MSi Entertainment TV Arcade - Space Invaders Gaming System - Not Machine Specific

Pretty close to the arcade version.

The first game set we ever owned had this game on it. It was a favorite of my kids when growing up. I was looking for some new hand held games with controller to work with my TV and saw this. My grandkids spent 2 hrs playing it the first time they came after I received it and loved it.

It's a fun game, however, the controls don't respond well. The joystick and buttons feel like they will last long but they're about a fraction of a second slow. When you turn in either direction or press A or B button you can see that there is a delay between the controls and the game which makes it difficult to beat the game. Other than that, it's a fun game. BTW, as expected, the graphics are pixelated which it makes the game feel like it's the original version. Overall, it's a fun game and it's a good way to kill time.

About what I was expecting, but even so the graphics are very sub-par. Course that might because I'm playing it on a 1080p 32" LCD television. My guess is it would look better on a old-school small (12" +/-) analog tv. Game play is a bit disappointing too, the response time of the joystick is a bit annoyingly slow. I've got some other similar stand-alone games like this and I have to say they work better that this one. Still I'll give it three-stars (Ok) as it does sort of does what it's suppose to.

This is not a very good Plug N Play system at all. The Space Invaders game they use on this is not the arcade version. It is from the Famicom (NES) game that was never released in America. The controls are ok, but the joystick has a weird shape to it. Feels cheaply made and is very light. It looks nice with the colorful stickers if you're just looking to place it on a shelf. Space Invaders is known as a challenging game, but this version is extremely tough with no difficulty selection. Good luck getting by the first stage. MSI Entertainment needs to up the quality of their Plug N Play offerings.

Easy and fun to play whether you are seven or seventy

Controller box was smashed heavily even though the shipping box was not damaged. It was very dirty also.

Bought this for my 8 year grandson as I was trying to explain to him the games that were available many years ago - he lasted 5 mins then went back to PS4 lol! but adults loved it

Brilliant, easy to set up and easy to use, I bought this for my dad for xmas as he loved the game years ago, it turned out to be the best buy for all the grandkids and older kids. Think i will have to purchase another one.

Good enough to bring back the memories of 1978. A screen of less than 30" is probably the best for the graphics. Can't get the high scores I used to lol 🛸🛸
