Good quality magnesium product that my GP recommended I take.

It works for me as far as cramps go.

After years of suffering from debilitating symptoms such as muscle cramps, fatigue, migraines, insomnia, loss of apatite and heart palpitations, and confused doctors with treatments that did nothing, I discovered that all my symptoms were signs of magnesium deficiency. I tried other magnesium supplements with no change. I read that magnesium chloride was better absorbed, and spent the money on slo-mag. I'm glad I did. Within one week, my problems are virtually gone. I've been amazed. I've had no side effects or stomach upset with slo-mag. I've recommended this product to anyone with similar symptoms, including my mother and grandmother.

I eat low carb, and it took off 181 pounds (and kept my weight down!), put my Type 2 diabetes into total remission, and greatly lengthened my life. I must stay on it. Going back to eating sugar and junk food would do me in, quickly. One problem I've had is leg cramps at night. Recently I got the book (for doctors) "The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living," by Volek and Phinney. It explains the leg cramps and tells exactly how to take magnesium. It also explains the advantages of Slow Mag over some of the others. I ordered Slow Mag here, and followed the book's instructions. It says for 20 days to take three each day, without fail. After that you can try one at a day, and if any of your symptoms return, go to 2 a day. I'm about 10 days into it now, and the leg cramps are gone, so I sleep better. Yippee! I suspect I've had other symptoms, too, but it's too soon to tell about them. I see some signs, but I'm not sure yet. Anyway, getting rid of those cramps is major! And since low magnesium was causing me leg cramps every night, who knows what else it was doing to me?

A key addition to my pre- and post-run routines, both for performance and recovery. While I have other magnesium supplements in my stable, this one is particularly valuable for strenuous exercise, and it has been a vital performer in keeping me moving forward. As an over-50 runner, I appreciate a great product like this one. Good value, top rating for me.

Good product. There a lots of claims and reviews from several competitors, but one thing customers often miss is the fine print on the dosage. Because of a medical condition, my wife actually needed a high minimum dose, which meant two of the slow mag pills twice a day. For most of the competitors, it would mean 8 pills a day. This is because most of the competitors have 64 mg of magnesium per pill where slow mag pills are 143 mg. With a strict comparison of cost per mg of magnesium, this product is as cheap as any or cheaper. And, it works. And, its what our doctor recommended.

This product keeps my magnesium levels in check and doesn't cause diarrhea.

Will write a review when I have my next blood work for magnesium I have now been on Slow-Mag for over a month and my magnesium is in the normal level. I will continue to use this product.
