BEAMNOVA Punching Die for Hand Press Grommet Machine Eyelet Hole Punch Tool (6mm (1/4 inch), Pointed (for Material of 1-9mm Thickness))

I bought this to use with a no name grommet press I bought on here in the hope it would fit…and it does! It easily goes through several layers of fleece and punches a hole that’s the perfect size for my no. 2 grommets. Very happy with the purchase, it will save me quite a bit of time.

Perfect fit for generic handled punch! Quality is good and tested on muslin fabric.

Purchased to work with QWORK Unit. I was wrong, it was upside down and would not fit. I was confused as the proper size hole end was supposed to be 1/4 inch. However when put in the correct way the hole was 1/16 inch or even less in diameter. I drilled a 1/4 inch hole but the device was to low and my upper component would not reach long enough to punch all the way through a soft cardboard about two mm thick! I will buy a washer to bring it up in height (about 3/4 inch id) and try it. It's confusing buying a new device, when they send the wrong part !

I needed to punch a lot of holes for some bracelets and didn't want to do all the pounding with a regular hole punch. I tried this because I could use it with my KAM press at a much lower price. It worked great on the glitter canvas I used for the bracelets. as you can see in the pictures clean holes and continued to cut through all the 117 pieces that each had 2 holes - that's 234 holes nicely punched. I am so very pleased with this.

I use a grommet press to punch holes in thick rubber and at first this was not doing the job. If its not cutting for you, you need to mount it on a piece of wood and find a way to elongate the handle. I used a scrap piece of hollow pipe I had laying around and it worked perfect. I rate this 9/10 because I had to rig it, but you can't beat the price.
