These pods clean quite well for the most part. I don’t use many dishes so only run a load every 2-3 days. They are able to remove dried-on food with the exception of eggs. I have a “nonstick” frying pan I cook eggs in, and usually it requires manual scrubbing after the wash to remove all the egg white residue. Though they have a soft plastic coating, it dissolves in the wash, so nothing to worry about. They are a good buy, and I think they work better than economy pods I have tried in the past. They definitely work better than dishwasher gel. They’re easy to use—just toss one in where you would normally put your gel or powder detergent.

I am literally in awe when I unload my dishes. I started to think there was something wrong with my dishwasher because the plates and glasses would come back still dirty and foggy. I tried Cascade and their multiple versions of detergent and I tried Amazon's generic and they both underperformed. This brand is a whole new level of clean. I can even overload the dishwasher and somehow everything comes out sparkling. I'm amazed every time andI'm not a Cascade user anymore.

I've not used a dishwasher in over 30 years. I bought a new house with all new LG appliances including a dishwasher. While unpacking my dishes I noticed they were spotty (hand washed and air dried). I ordered this FINISH ULTIMATE just to try it. The glasses were so spot-free and sparkly I was totally blown away. So now as I unpack all my dishes, they go right into the dishwasher with one of these pods. I feel like I've been living like a caveman for the last 30 years.

I guess mileage may vary on this kind of product - I do think when compared to cascade in the past this one does a better job it’s rare to see a plate with anything left on it. That said these chemicals are better now with glass and glaze but I do think that they etch over time still. There is some shine to this one the rinse aid I guess is built in. No need to fill the door flap thing.
