The head came a little scuffed up, but over all looks pretty good out of the box. I wish it was hung a little cleaner but it's pretty solid. Heavier than expected but I personally like the weight of it. Unfortunately, a rivet popped off when I picked up the belt loop, but that's just a quick fix. Overall I enjoyed using this so far. Was able to easily split up some firewood, and hack through some knotted deadwood (just to test durability). The handle is pretty comfortable too, and looks great. Good gift idea for dads! Lol

The initial axe itself, looks and feels great. The finish thats on the axe head was peeling as soon as i opened the box. Not a big deal since you know… its an axe. Anyway, i found a very small piece of water oak growing off of the main tree to try this out on. At first i was very impressed, its sharp and the handle was great in my hand. Felt very comfy. After a few good swings, the head flew off. Never hit the axe handle against anything, never hit a sideways hit, all clean perfect swings. Not a huge deal, the handle is still in good shape, the axe head is as well. Just gotta go through the trouble of making or buying a wedge kit.

Looks cool but don’t get it. Not ideal for splitting, cutting, or processing wood. Needs to be sharpened right out of the box.(fair) Feels weird in the hand. XL sized hands To be completely honest, I thought it was going to function like another cheap hatchet.-NOPE Didnt make it past one block of wood before the blade started to come off. Wedge functionality needs work (Having extra circular wedges should have been a red flag) Wood not recommend

Bought this hatchet for splitting wood for my fire place and I was very pleased. I sharpened it up and it splits perfectly. Nice solid handle and quality leather carrier. The head is very good metal as well. It is similar size to most hatchets. It works great and looks awesome. Highly recommend.

Nice little hatchet for hiking. Always have it with me while in the bush. Wont hurt to sharpen a little when it arrives but nice product and quality for the price.

It is shorter, lighter, and lends itself to use with just one hand. It is great for chopping small branches to splitting wood to skinning branches or wood of bark. It comes with a holster ring for your belt and also a blade sheath, easy for using at outdoors.

Functional shape but unbelievably dull out of the package. It’s going to take some sharpening to make it useful.
