These ends are very well made and easy to install. Perfect replacement for my extension cords. Plug and receptacles have a nice firm fit and connect well.

On 16/3 cords the female plugs are difficult to wire. They just don't have much room inside to connect the wires. Thankfully the male plugs are much easier. That said even though they can be a chore to wire they're still worthwhile if all you need is a new plug.

Love these for tube amp repair or just to fix a shoddy end on otherwise good cables.

I bought these cord ends to refurbish a long extension cord. They were a little fiddly to install as the materials had no give in them. This lack of give made the edges a little "sharp" when handling, but nothing to be overly concerned about, as I think that the cord ends will be highly durable. The design of the items is exactly as I expect, but I would have preferred the cable to be more securely attached to the ends. The cord ends fit regular outlets, and my leaf blower perfectly connects without any issues. The functionality is perfect, they do what they are meant to do, and the price of the items represents very good value for money.

The female 3 prong plug is very difficult if not impossible to wire using 12 gauge wire. Worked on this female plug for almost 2 hours and still could not get it right. This is the same plug that Home Depot & Lowes sells under the name of Project Source, currently $6.05, I am really frustrated and disappointed with this plug, The screws do not open nearly wide enough for the wire size. Maybe a 16 gauge wire or smaller might work ok. I do not recommend this plug for 12 gauge wire. I bought the 10 piece set, 5 female and 5 male 3 prong set. The male plugs are okay, I used 3 of the 5 plugs so far. I am not sure what I am going to do with the 5 female plugs. Do not buy this set unless you are going to use very small wire.

I have an old 14 gauge grounded electrical extension cord with problem at the plug end - the outlet end had been replaced years ago. This package contained two sets of replacement connections - 2 plugs and 2 outlet ends. I had intended to replace both ends on my cord, but after replacing the plug everything tested as being okay. I started to use it with my lawn edger, but the edger had a hooded plug which was too small to go over the previously replaced outlet end. So I ended up changing out the outlet end as well with one from this set. Then everything tested ... and worked ... fine. I especially like the "necked" mid part of the connector which provides a good place to grip on it to unplug it when finished using the extension cord. And internally each of the screw type connections had a place to wrap the bare wire around to serve as a strain relief. The best part of this 4 piece package set is that after replacing both ends of one extension cord I still have another complete set available to do the same for another cord whenever that need arises ... and all for a price point that is competitive with other products which would only fix one cord.
