I have purchased another product like this and couldn’t get rid of the plastic taste from the water despite rinsing with lemon juice etc. this product was so much better, no complaints and does its job.

Ok, so I believe these are supposed to be for runners and active people, of which I am not. I bought this so that when I'm comfy in bed and don't want to move, I can still drink, it's perfect. I'm currently averaging around 3 1/2 litres per 24 hrs. I do recommend sterilising it every week/two weeks cos it's not that easy to clean, but other than that, it's perfect for keeping middle aged hormonal women hydrated ;)

The hydration bladder is very good quality. I expected some after-taste from the plastic but I couldn't taste anything other than fresh water. The bite valve works well and the bladder has a good seal so it does not leak. 2 litres was a good volume for cycling up to 35 miles.

This is my favorite style of bladder (as compared to the kind that folds over at the top). It is easy to get inside to wipe it down, the cap seals well, and it is a good sturdy material overall. Works great with my running vest.

I really like this 2-liter hydration bladder. It has a no leak bite valve with a dust cover (a real plus), and the hose is plenty long enough to have the bladder in just about any pack and still be able to access the bite valve (I have seen some that are too short for use with some packs). In addition, the bite valve has a positive push-pull locking mechanism that will stop unwanted flow. The seams are double-sealed and seem very sturdy. The bladder also has a carry handle as well as a place to hang it up. While all of this is nice, the best thing for me is the large opening with the screw top. This was a great idea and allows for easy cleaning and drying as well as the easy addition of ice to the liquid in the bladder. One thing I worry about with bladders is that they will remain damp inside and cause mold to grow. With this wide mouth, you can fully get your hand inside to wipe the entire inside dry. Then, just hang the bladder up with the screw cap off to ensure that the inside is completely dry. All of these features come in a package that is much easier on the wallet than the name brands. I would definitely recommend this bladder.
