This is a review of the "Lenovo ThinkStation P320 Tiny Workstation - Intel Core i7-7700T, 16GB RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, NVIDIA Quadro P600 2GB, Windows 10 Pro" I purchased this on Amazon pre-configured, but the Lenovo web site allows you to "build your own" and it is highly customizable with a large variety of options and levels. This configuration was maxed out other than RAM (I got 16gb instead of the max 32gb), and SSD (I got 512gb rather than 1TB) and it was very reasonably priced compared to other very capable small form factor PCs from other major brands. The full specs are at the end of this review. Picture a PC about the size of a tray loading CD drive, that’s an ISV certified workstation with an i7 Quad Core CPU, Integrated and discrete Graphics that can drive up to 6 monitors (5@4K), up to 32gb RAM, and 1TB SSD, and a host of ports many towers would envy. I had a hard time believing that Lenovo managed to pack that level of power and connectivity in such a tiny package - but they did. Setup was easy. Plug in the external power supply (the size of a typical laptop power supply). Connect the included USB keyboard and mouse (or your own). Connect an external monitor. Connect 10/100/1000 ethernet. Power up. Go through a typical Windows 10 setup (including the usual annoying number of Windows updates with many interspersed reboots). There is some Lenovo bloatware, but not a lot, and what's there seems useful (mostly utility, monitoring, and performance tuning). Operation is extremely fast and so far has been completely and utterly reliable with no glitches, crashes, slowdowns etc. I use my own USB keyboard, a Bluetooth mouse, and twin 32" monitors. Under normal operation (typical surfing and MS Office) the unit is mostly very quiet and you likely can't hear the fan from a couple feet away in a very quiet room. There is one threshold, that when you reach it, the fan starts a cycle of spinning up and down every few seconds. It's not loud at that point but the constant cycling can be pretty annoying (just wish it would stay spinning). But, as you might expect, when you tax the system with things like high resolution picture and video editing or drawing or other more workstation type activities, the unit starts to generate a lot of heat. And a tiny fan has to run to cool it. Tiny fan + lots of heat = high speed + loud. If the unit is sitting right beside you, it can be fairly annoying. But if you mount it out of sight - behind a monitor, under a desk, in a cupboard, etc, it's not bad in a normal office environment. Not something you would want to use in a library though. This is the only real negative I've found with this machine. And it's not a huge issue with me because I keep it in an equipment closet beside my desk that muffles the sound. The fan does provide sufficient cooling as I've noticed no slow downs even when pegging the CPU for an extended period of time (4K video editing). This really is a fantastic little machine. It's small, fast, reliable, capable, and connectable. If you want workstation level performance in a tiny package, I'd highly recommend this machine. I have been using this computer for over a month now and I am very satisfied with the performance. The compact size offers a lot of flexibility for setting up your workstation wherever you might need it.

I purchased from Amazon and also added additional 16 gb of memory to max it out to 32 gb and I could not be happier with it.
