Bosch S5A13 - car battery - 95A/h - 850A - AGM technology - adapted for vehicles with Start/Stop system

I'm delighted, it's a clean swap for the old one

Just installed the Bosch S5 A13 AGM (start/stop) car battery in my BMW 430d F36 and couldn’t be happier. It’s a high-quality, top-tier battery, one of the best you can buy for this model. Highly recommended for anyone needing a serious battery upgrade.

Like a glove. Initially was stating that it won't fit, but I was positive about it. Plenty of space in batt bay

Don't buy. Will not replace after five months of use, response from company after sending back for testing, it could have been faulty when sent out as it was 5 months old then. I am just emailing regarding the outcome of your warranty claim. The warranty on your battery covers all faults caused by manufacturing workmanship or material. The warranty however does not cover the following Non-Manufacturing Defects like sulphation, Wear and Tear, Deep or Over Cycling, Overcharging, or undercharging, Case damage, Terminal damage, Incorrect Application, Fault Diagnosis / Installation. As the voltage is below 10.4V, a process of sulphation occurs. Sulphation is a build-up of lead sulphate crystals and this can cause loss of cranking power, longer charging times and premature battery life. Crystals can build naturally in a battery, but with regular use and charging of the battery the crystals are small enough to be broken down. However, at the point of sulphation these crystals are so big that they cannot be broken down by the battery’s natural process. This reduces the conductive area on the metal plates inside of the battery, which means there is less usable capacity. As your battery’s voltage is reading 2.94V, the battery is fully discharged, however as the battery has not been recharged sufficiently it has led the voltage to drop further to the point of sulphation. This then prevents the battery from working to its full capacity again. Unfortunately, based on these details which are stated in our terms, we are unable to replace this battery under the warranty and it is now void. However, if you require further assistance buying a replacement battery, please let us know and we would be happy to assist.

This is no doubt a fine battery to upgrade to, as I thought I would give my 2016 Volvo XC60 a boost for those winter months. However, after fitting mine, I found that the plastic battery cover would no longer cover the battery due to its tapered design fouling the oversized battery. I had to fasten it down with a few tyraps, though this still left a gap for air to enter the battery compartment, which may lead to terminal verdigris. So, just be aware that the claim that this battery "fits your vehicle" (Volvo XC60 specifically) is not strictly true, so be prepared to adapt!

Fits 2003 e-class perfectly. Arrived a day earlier than promised, very well packaged. Cheaper than buying locally.

Very Good Price (compared to local dealers). Delivered in good condition earlier than specified date range. Battery fitted same day and car is happy again! Has been in use for approx one month in midwinter with no problems.

この商品の他に、ちょっと安いVARTAのバッテリーとかも検討しましたが、どちらにしても安い買い物ではないので、失敗したくはなかったので、やっぱりBOSCHにしてみました。どれ程の性能差があるか判りませんが、とりあえずBOSCHの方が若干ですが軽いみたいだし、安心感があるので満足です。 もちろんエンジンの始動性も抜群です。

Die Bosch Automotive AGM 12 V passt perfekt in meinen Audi A4 B8.5 (Baujahr 2015). Sie ersetzt den originalen 92-Ah-Akku, der nach 10 Jahren ausgetauscht werden musste. Der Einbau verlief problemlos und die Batterie funktioniert seit über einem Jahr zuverlässig. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
