Himachal Temples & The Bengal Connection: Why Temples of Mandi, Kullu Resemble Their Bengal Counterparts

A short but thorough book
The book starts with basics of temple architecture- the classical architecture part as well as the philosophical aspects of it. It is a very complex subject but the author has summarised it succinctly. Then the book steps towards Himachal architecture in particular and draws comparisons with Bengal temple architecture in a very convincing manner. The book is a gold mine of information and deserves to be a text book of temple / heritage studies. Kudos!!!.
