After spending a lot of time getting my paint properly cleaned and polished, I wanted a ceramic coating that would give me that deep glossy look without making the application unnecessarily difficult. I ended up going with GYEON MOHS EVO, and I've been really impressed with the results. The application was much easier than I expected. Once the paint was properly prepped, I applied the coating one section at a time and followed the recommended wipe-off process. The coating flashes fairly quickly, so you do need to pay attention to what you're doing, but once you get into a rhythm the process is pretty straightforward. The biggest difference I noticed was the slickness. After the coating cured, the paint felt incredibly smooth and slick compared with how it felt before. The gloss was also noticeably deeper, especially on my darker paint. Under good lighting, the paint looked much more reflective and had that freshly detailed appearance that I was hoping for. Water behavior is another thing that really stood out. Once the coating was cured, water started beading and running off the paint much more aggressively than it did before. Washing the car has also become easier because dirt and water don't seem to stick to the surface as much. One thing I would strongly recommend is not rushing the prep work. The coating isn't going to hide swirls, scratches, or other imperfections, so the better the paint looks before you apply it, the better the finished result will be. I also wouldn't try to coat the entire car at once if you're doing this for the first time. Working panel by panel gives you much more control. Overall, I'm very happy with MOHS EVO. It gave me the combination I was looking for: a really glossy finish, an extremely slick surface, and impressive water behavior. If you're willing to spend the time properly preparing your paint and following the application instructions, this is a coating I'd definitely recommend for a DIY detailer.

I tried Adam's graphene ceramic first which had no instructions and caused high spots all over the place and was not slick at all. MOHS EVO came with many instructions for prep, application and aftercare and made me feel confident about doing it myself. I polished off all the Adam's high spots and applied this product in a garage on a hot and humid day. It went on and off easily and you could feel it was more slick than Adam's because the towel was sliding off shortly after application. The paint color looks much deeper now and water beads are tiny. I only did the hood and front fenders but will do the rest of the car when it gets cooler.
