This potassium supplement is incredible! I was getting Charlie horse cramps all over, in my legs, my hands, and my feet to name a few areas I would get them. Then the muscle cramps progressed and I started to get Charlie horse type cramps in my chest, in my heart to the point I would double over in pain. I started taking this supplement daily at rather high doses, 2 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and 2 in the evening and all the cramps stopped immediately the day I started taking the potassium supplement. I continued the high doses for over a week, for roughly 10 days. I have decreased the dose to 2 a day for maintenance, and I no longer get muscle cramps of any kind. I swear by this supplement. Based on my own experience of how it resolved a potentially life-threatening deficiency of potassium I have had, I won't, or more precisely maybe can't, live without it.

I tried a couple of potassium gummies, first potassium citrate/glutonate, then citrate alone before trying this one that is bicarbonate. I'm sure I asked CoPilot and/or another AI before I made the switch. Some companies limit the amount they include to 99mg. I believe I would have felt pain if my mature body didn't handle these large doses. But no worries and I twisted a leg up the other day, like the old Twister game. I was climbing over stuff to get in the back of a truck box and thought "Lets see if this cramps, and hurts". Nope. So yeah, recommended if you can tolerate it. I also take magnesium by another brand. Capsules.

I take one a day with my morning meal. Recent blood work showed my potassium levels to be well in the normal range. Dosing potassium can be tricky, but my body seems happy with one pill a day. My wife has muscle issues and so she takes two a day. We definitely can tell when she skips her morning dose. This is potassium bicarbonate, so there is a likelihood you may burp a time or two after taking it. It doesn’t create uncomfortable or obnoxious belly gas by any means, but the carbonate does percolate in the stomach and has to escape. This isn’t a reason not to take it. It’s just something to be aware of. Don’t take it with cayenne or cinammon or other strong aromatic herbs you don’t want to burp. I highly recommend this product. I believe it is dosed correctly and potent.

We have taken this supplement for about a year. Blood pressure stays in the normal range most of the time. We are elderly and this high potassium together with the magnesium and vitamin D eliminates the need for medication. We don’t worry about the calcium nor the sodium. Also vitamin K2 to keep the calcium in the bone and away from the soft tissue. We don’t pay attention to the cholesterol hype. Finally a low carb (not low fat) and low sugar diet to round everything results are surprisingly positive.

Excellent supplements

I rather take this potassium as the capsules easy to swallow. My potassium remains regular each time I am tested. I have shared this potassium with others to buy especially those whose body deplete potassium without a diagnosis as to why. This is a must have to those who is seeking to keep their potassium level at normal range.

This supplement provides 5x the potassium (~500mg) compared to many supplements that limit potassium to 99mg, an FDA limit that I have read may apply only to certain other forms (KCl and/or time release formulations), because the side effects were noted in a certain prescription strength potassium supplement. However many manufacturers have limited their potassium content - in any form - to 99mg/pill. Given the potential for side effects, I'd check with a dr. if you have kidney or digestive issues. I have been taking 1 of these early per day and a 99mg pill 12+hrs later (used to take1 of these and 2 99mg), for a total of 500-600mg. That's still a bit over 10% of the RDA. I don't think it'd be advisable to take a large number of these to try to get close to 4700mg. Some prepared/packaged foods have potassium (added in place of part of the sodium?); one could look for these. I don't feel any digestive ill effects with the dosage described. My blood pressure is ok for being almost 50 lbs overweight, although they have been gradually lowering the limits, lol. Since my intake of these is small relative to the RDA, it's hard to tell if they are doing anything.
