OLESILK Silk Baby Bonnet for 0-6 Months, Newborn Sleep Cap, Adjustable

Very soft. Fits well on 3 month old. Great quality. Protects his hair at night. It does tend to slide off by morning but really only need it for after washing hair and holding products so it doesn’t rub off on bedding.

My son is mixed so I’ve been looking for something to protect his hair. It’s fairly straight and wavy. It doesn’t stay curly so this really helped with the satin lining on the inside. The only thing is ..that it slides down pass his eyes sometimes if he’s moving a lot and he starts crying once I pull it back up he’s fine. You can adjust it. I was nervous if it would be too tight, but the band is not too tight and it’s also lined with the fabric so it doesn’t leave prints on their forehead!! Just please make sure you check on your baby once in a while to see if it’s down passed eyes. It never reaches passed his nose, especially if you’re tightening it! super simple super good product.

I honestly love this lil thing and will be buying another one soon. So for starters, there is no need to immediately use this for baby. I would highly suggest holding off on use until baby is at the age where they are physically moving their heads on their own and start to experience the beginnings of dry tangles or thinning caused by friction. Which would be closer to 4mo. I normally protect my babies hair by putting coconut oil on wet hair and sealing that in with some blue magic coconut. That alone allows a lot of slip and traps in moisture. Once that was no longer doing the job during bedtime or floor time, that’s when I started using the bonnet. My baby doesn’t seem too bothered by it as I have it adjusted where it’s not too snug or loose on his head. I honestly love the feel of the material inside and out. It does an amazing job with protecting his curls and retaining moisture. I see some people had mentioned the strap leaving marks on the head. I found that as long as the bonnet is adjusted as I mentioned and you flip that part of the bonnet to the outside it add that separation and prevents that from happening. You can also just fold the bottom of the bonnet up if it’s “too big” for your babies noggin. You know, kind of like how you would with a normal beanie. Same concept.One more thing, definitely wouldn’t recommend leaving this on your baby unattended, especially if they’re the type to freak out and hold their breath if anything is covering even a bit their face. My kiddos aren’t like that. I’m also very aware when sleeping which is why I’m comfortable doing so, but it is very frowned upon by professionals. Do your own research and follow your own rules.

Would have gave a 5 star but it always is over my baby’s eyes after waking from anap, or sleep and does have an adjustment strap, and still be too big, and is made for infants/babys, the strap and button on the side seems like it could be uncomfortable to sleep on, & you gotta also think about your baby’s soft spots too, but other then that the texture and color, and the satin inside has everything you look for in any bonnet 🙌

I love it. the silk is clearly not real but it’s super soft and feels close enough to the real thing. i got these for my baby because he’s rubbing the back of his head bald while he’s sleeping. I got one in the color white and one in black. they fit him a little snug but he’s really chubby for a baby. honestly for the money it’s so worth it. they stretch pretty well but like i said my baby has a fat head so he’s a bad example. They stay on and work well. i would recommend especially if you’re looking for something cheap and well made and that is going to do what you need it to.

The elastic band makes it easy to fit different baby hair shapes. It’s durable. Cute. Washes well. However, I question if the inside of it is truly silk.

Will keep your babies, head from going bald from laying down too long. It was durable protects the hair soft and the quality was good.

It fits firmly on my baby's head but he occasionally takes it off until I tighten it up a little bit
