Did exactly what it said on the tin, plenty of power. , good bit of kit, I would contemplate the 240v if it was not being used on site.

Damaged goods
Terrible. I used it once and it started making a funny noise and hasn't worked since. Tried reaching out to customer care and getting no response from them. Have been on amazon for years and I reckon this is the worst experience I've had on it.

Don't Buy It For UK Use
The winch is ok BUT you'll need a stepdown converter at extra cost to use it in the UK and a plug adapter too. There is no mention of that in the product description and was a significant annoyance and frustration. On top of that the converter came with a short cable as does the winch itself, the latter is far, far too short so I had to buy a USA specified extention. Having to use it with a complex set up is a ball ache.

Great product. Having a portable winch is so convenient. 1000lb isn’t a huge amount of force so consider snatch blocks to augment this. Also, get in the habit of taking the battery out every single time. It’s annoyingly easy to leave the on button flipped which drains the battery completely, them a month later when you need it you find the battery dead. Other than that, very reliable and great quality product.

Don't be fooled by it's size. This little winch is powerfull. It can pull a disabled car onto a trailer with ease. Get two batteries when you order to be safe. You don't want to be halfway done and run out of juice.

Purchased this to help load a small car (Ford escape) onto a trailer. Have used for several other tasks. Works well (better than expected). Happy with my purchase. Battery last a long time. (And there is 2). Easy to operate. Pulls very slow but very strong. Good value. Looking forward to Elk hunting season.

I ordered this the end of October for a christmas gift. I can't afford a bunch of gifts at once so I ordered it early. Well the battery had a malfunction in it. I literally used it once. Charged the battery and it never worked again. I paid 374 dollars for a piece that I couldn't ship back because I ordered it too soon to keep me from having to buy everything at once. I would recommend it but the battery sucks and now I don't know what to do with it
