Johnson Pumps 09-46839-02 Accumulator Tank with 3/4-Inch Hose Barb

The black plastic adaptors that go from the T section to the hose barb are inadequate for a pressurized water system. they bottom out on the T because they're not proper tapered PVC adaptors. Had to waste time and money running around to HW stores to find a good PVC connector. Documentation from SPX Flow/Johnson is absolutely deplorable. It is a total of one page. it does NOT tell you how to set psi pressure, does not tell you whether you can mount vertical, horizontal, upside down, etc. does not tell you whether or what kind of thread sealant to use. The if you call SPX tech support, you get a guy that "thinks" you should do it this way.... The one good thing about this product is the tank is metal but due to all other factors I will not likely be buying from SPX Flow again in the future.

The unit it self is built well, but the mount to hold it is poorly designed. It is meant to 'click" into its holder, but a small amount of pressure dislodged the tank. Instruction are very poor on pressure settings, etc.
