I ordered the set of a 12" and 17" in the black silicone tipped models. The metal is nice and hefty and feels very sturdy. Silicone tips are nice and thick. I saw someone else said it was not real silicone, yes it is. Not all silicone is super soft and flexible. This is thick and less squishy, but is perfect for tong tips as you want some firmness to grab the food you are working with. The locking ring at the back has a good range of movement and is easy to lock, and just tap to unlock. Very good spring tension too! All said this is an excellent set of 2 tongs and the price was very easy on the budget. The only thing you don't get is the ability to do the "clack, clack, clack" of the metal tongs (It's a BBQ thing), but I'm kidding as I knew this before I ordered them (silicone tips will not "clack" and that's not a problem at all)

Don't struggle with that old pair of tongues, constantly cleaning it and what not. Get a nice multi pack like this, multiple sizes and uses. Work and clean fine

Recently one of the inner springs of my favorite tongs broke and I decided to give these a try since the price was so competitive. We've used a top-name brand of tongs for cooking for years, so when it came time to buy a replacement we were very skeptical about this no-name brand since it was far and away more affordable and at a price point where a set of three pairs cost less than just one singular set of tongs from our favorite name brand. These tongs are wonderful. The handle and finish are excellent, the locking mechanism is solid, and most importantly the handle and grip are nearly identical to the name-brand tongs I formerly used. The only slightly noticeable difference is the weight and heft of the stainless steel. These tongs are just ever so slightly lighter in weight than the name brand I had been using. Overall these tongs are an excellent value for the price, in fact I never knew I needed a shorter/stubby pair until I received them as part of this set. Now I cannot live without it!

Great tongs. Easy ti wash, sturdy and functional

I do a lot of outside grilling and bought these for that purpose and they work great. I love that they came in 3 different sizes cause i have use for each size depending on what I am grilling.

I have only had these for a few weeks but I have been very pleased with them. Better quality than most tongs I have used in the past . Comfortable to hold and a good range in sizes for any occasion. I don't write reviews very often but this is worth a shout out for something most people would use everyday. So next time you need a set of tongs, keep these in mind. They are more comfortable to use and better quality than any supermarket ones I have bought over the years.
