After researching I was surprised to find that this was comparable or cheaper to other sites. Great value for the money. Looks awesome in my all white PC build. Quiet, fast, fits perfect and great quality.

I recently purchased this MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4070, and I've got some thoughts to share on this beast and its value for money.Graphics Goodness (★★★★★):Starting with visuals. at 1440p High/Ultra across most titles (MW3, CIV6, CS2, DOTA2, Chiv2, R6) im seeing lows of 130-140fps on the most demanding titles and lows of 170-190 on the esports category of games, this is plenty of performance for a 1440p 170hz monitor.Cool and Collected (★★★★★):MSI nailed the cooling on this – this thing stays in the 45-55c range without sounding like a jet engine. Whether I'm on an hours-long gaming binge or just watching some videos, the temperature stays in check, and the fan noise doesn't drive me crazy and im using this in a SFF case with limited airflow - using a simple 0.91v undervolt at stock clock speed I find the best performance for the best temps YMMV.Looks Matter (★★★★★):Now, aesthetics might not be everyone's top priority, but this card looks slick, and the build quality feels premium. I like it in my NZXT H1Plugged In and Ready (★★★★☆):Connectivity-wise, it's got all the ports you need for the latest displays. 1x HDMI 2.1, 3x DisplayPort 1.4a – for best performance use a DP cable!To sum it up, the MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 brings the best 1440p experience without breaking the bank. For everyday gaming, it gets the job done and then some. If you're on the lookout for a graphics card that's both solid and reasonably priced (549.99), the RTX 4070 might just be the ticket. (Dont forget to look into undervolting cant recommend it enough!)

The 4070 is more than enough to play modern games on the highest settings in QHD. I like the white look of it too. No problems in my built pc. Game on!

On time and in great shape

went from a 1660 to a 4070 and its been a great upgrade. Fans don’t spin until its under load, even then it doesn’t get above 73 on temps. Concerns about VRM temps are mainly fear-mongering.UPDATE: Recently did a case swap and GPU temps have gone down. I average 68c-69c while gaming with a peak at 70c.

I upgraded from a RTX 3060 and it wasn’t a HUGE improvement but it let me install the RTX 3060 in another PC to improve our LAN overall. I’m probably gaining about 20 fps which is noticeable, of course, but not personally worth another $600 over the RTX 3060 in itself.I would say that if you have something weaker than a RTX this would be a first choice bang for your buck upgrade option.I installed it in a Node 202 case and it fit in well. The ended up zip tying it to a case support to help support the weight on the PCI riser. It’s not heavy, most cases won’t need this, but the node 202 is a different beast for SFF gaming.

Perfect for serious gaming

Card is hot and noisy.That being said it was a great upgrade from the 1660 Ti I was using.performance is great, but it consistently runs hot when under load. The two fan configuration might be why it gets and stays hot. The fans have to run at full speed to try to keep up with the heat.I bought it because the case wouldn't support a full size GPU. If I had a choice to get a card with three fans I would have.
