Can this be used to extend a power supply to a dashcam?

Yes, but it isn't solid copper, it's CCA (copper clad aluminium). Top quality speaker cable is always 100% copper construction

Will this be ok for extending a 7m speaker cable? I realise I need about 11m for wiring ceiling speakers back to the touch screen control panel.

This will give a single item such as a speaker "up to" 10m of extension.It w8ll depend on the path you have t9 take to hide the cable. Unless you mean a pair of speakers, in which case "up to" 5m per speaker cable extension.

Would this cable be any good to power a model railway

To power the track it will be ok . As the track is low voltage and low power . Check the transformer output to be sure.

Cheap and great !

I bought this a stopgap in all honesty till I could get to a store that sells cable . No need ! I was genuinely surprised by how great it sounds . Unless you're one of the "gold plated" stereo guys that thinks they have hearing like a Dog this is a great buy .
