Brilliant, lovely, so useful for internal work and working with clients
I love these cards! Just looking at the images inspires introspection, and they have led to incredible conversations. I even used them with my mom when she was recovering from a brain bleed and needing to practice her language.

Valuable Addition to All Inner Work
Sooo… I’m what they call a ‘seasoned’ clinician - which basically means I’ve been wandering the “inner realms” of the psyche since the days of mixtapes. But, I will never be done learning and being thrilled by new healing supports and that’s what these cards are. They surprised me, delighted me, and they are now a partner in many process both personal and professional. The InnerActive Cards for Parts Work offer not just pictures, but entry points and gentle openings through which the many voices and faces of the self can step forward to be seen, heard, and honored.I use these cards both personally and professionally, inviting them into parts work, expressive arts, journal therapy, play therapy and more. Clients are often surprised by how naturally an image calls to them, how quickly a part recognizes itself without explanation. Rather than assigning rigid meanings, the cards allow for free association, story, and emotional resonance, opening a dialogue that feels authentic and empowering. There is much room here for self discovery and self reflection. The physical quality matches the spirit behind them. The cards are sturdy, laminated to withstand real-world use, (and that is a lot in my practice) and flexible enough to move easily through the hands. They’ve stood up to the creative, tactile realities of therapy work, even through sandtray sessions, without losing their integrity. The artwork itself is tender, inclusive, and emotionally nuanced, making space for protectors, exiles, dreamers, warriors, and all the sacred multiplicities we all encounter. While certainly not an exhaustive list of parts, grouped together they can form themes, facets and possibilities, helping clients get closer to naming their own.I often invite clients to select intuitively, allowing synchronicity and soul-knowing to guide the process. What follows often opens a conversation with Self that could not be forced by logic or cognition alone. It doesn’t even have to be about “parts work”, these would work equally well to serve as an emotional capture, where images tell the story for the kind of feelings that don’t have language. More than once I have had a client say, “THAT. THAT is how I feel!” where they struggled to find words. If you are a therapist, a seeker, or a soul who longs to meet your inner landscape with compassion and wonder, these cards are a beautiful, trustworthy ally. Again, they do not tell the story for you, but they help you recognize the characters who might be trying to write.

Amazing tool!
Amazing tool to unblend from parts and make them more palpable. I just started using them with some clients and am impressed how much they have added to my IFS work. Especially helpful for people who tend to dissociate a lot.
