Sleeping Bags for Adults XXL Cold Weather

I like camping. I like the outdoors. I like fresh air, cold mornings, and the quiet dignity of pretending I am tougher than I really am. But I do not like being zipped into a nylon burrito of personal regret. That is why I love this HiZYNICE XXL flannel sleeping bag. This thing is roomy, warm, comfortable, and has the general feel of someone smuggling a small bed into the wilderness. I have used it in temperatures from around 40 to 65 degrees, and it has been great. In cooler weather, it is nice and toasty. If you want to snug it up a little more, it has straps that let you pull it closer together for a more mummy-style feel. Personally, I appreciate having the option, while also deeply appreciating not being forced into the lifestyle. The cotton flannel interior is wonderfully comfortable. It feels much more like home bedding than a typical slick camping bag, which is exactly what I wanted. This is not the bag I would choose for backpacking up a mountain, but for car camping, canoe camping, or any trip where comfort is allowed to come along for the ride, it is excellent. It also opens up nicely, and because it is oversized, it is easy to vent or loosen up when the weather is warmer. You can make it less airtight and more blanket-like, which makes it useful across a wider range of temperatures. So far, the zippers seem sturdy, the bag looks good, and the whole thing feels well made. I liked the first one enough that I now own three. If you like room, warmth, flannel comfort, and not feeling constrained — in sleeping bags or, frankly, in life — you will probably be very happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

Quality: Very good quality and super soft and comfortable to sleep in or on top of as a mat. Warm, sleek, nice to look at. Not an ugly bag at all. Warmth: This bag is incredibly warm and even being on top your body heat is stored very well and traps easily. This is great for colder conditions and will keep you toasty! 🔥 Zipper: The side zipper is a bidirectional zipper: one zipper pull is on the top and can be unzipped from top to bottom for shoulder ventilation, and the other zipper pull is on the bottom and can be unzipped from bottom to top for leg ventilation. Storage and Carrying: Super easy to pack up and pull out when needed being a moderate weight bag. For how warm it is it’s not super heavy! The storage bag has a handle like grip and the strap goes over the top so it won’t fall out accidentally on you. The bag has plenty of room as well so even if your tucking isn’t tight you’ll fit it right back inside with ease! Customer Service: My bad had a mild issue with the zippers having an issue on the side of the bag and I may have just got a dud, but the brand customer service helped me solve all my issues. They explained the bag design and functions and really ensured they undertook the problem in order to solve it. I got a full refund and they were super respectful and informative. Great Buy!

My son is 6 3 and his biggest complaint about sleeping bags is they are too short for him. That's not the case here. He can wiggle inside it and still cover his head. He said it is extremely comfortable and keeps him warm no matter how far northeast he goes! Wonderful! We live in AZ and it is hard for him to go places like PA and be warm. It folds up easily so he can store it at the foot of his bed and still have easy access to it. This has been the greatest purchase I have made!

My husband absolutely adores this! He said this is the best quality sleeping bag he has ever had! He sleeps on the sofa often and even brings it to the bed with him. It’s super warm! No issue with the zipper and its thick quality! It’s super long so good for tall people. He and I can both fit inside with a snug fit. I love it so much that he hides it from me lol! If you are a camper I think this is a perfect buy! It’s like a comforter and is the size of a queen size bed and more when opened all the way up. Worth the buy! And rolls up great!

i’m a 6’ person who was VASTLY concerned when my job said i needed a 0° sleeping bag— and took a shot in the dark w this one. i ended up being pleasantly surprised!!! the sleeping bag is MASSIVE, and luckily fit almost perfectly onto the bunk beds i needed to spend the next two months on (camp counselor lmao). I will say, that i wouldn’t pick this one if what you’re mainly planning to do with it is straight up sleep in 0° temperatures consistently. there’s a few reasons for this— 1. it’s INCREDIBLY tedious and difficult to pack. the sleeping bag itself comes vacuum sealed with no bag to transport it in. you have to roll it up and tie it off with some rope, then STILL have to find a place in your backpack (if you’re backpacking) for this heavy beast. not great in that sense, and you’ll end up holding it in your arms the whole hike. 2. it doesn’t cover your head ! a lot of the heat escapes this way! which is fine if you’re spending the night in an open-air bunk or tend towards the middle of summer, but where i was at (the sierras) it was FREEZING outside early and late summer nights/mornings. at one point i even woke up with frost all over the sleeping bag and frozen feet. 3. because it doesn’t close at the top (or even cinch like the design would suggest), it’s more like a blanket with walls. DESPITE ALL THESE REASONS— if you’re just looking for a casual and comfortable sleeping bag to get you through a camping trip in the bed of your truck or a cabin/tent, this one’s PERFECT. it did tear slightly on the outside towards the end of the summer (which is considerably great since i was using it every single night), but i’m pretty sure it’s cause i got it caught on a manzanita bush or smth. all in all, VERY GOOD AND VERY COMFORTABLE, but NOT for 0°. get a mummy bag or smth if that’s what ur lookin for; you sacrifice movement for warmth, but it’s probably worth it if you’re actually in below freezing temps.

OK, I GOT THESE FOR CAMP AND THEY ARE SOOOO WARM, CUTE, COZYY, AND WATER RESISTANT! SUPER THICK AND HEAVY!! WORTH THE MONEY!

This is a very nice, soft, oversized sleeping bag that allows both me and my dog to get in and keep each other warm. I’ve washed and dried it with no issues. I appreciate the pocket on the inside of the bag and the synch top that keeps pillows in place. The drawstring around the shoulder area is also very nice to make sure you trap in your body heat. Overall an EXCELLENT purchase. The one draw back is the side zipper - while appears to be high quality mine frequently gets stuck on nothing and is a bit cumbersome to close up. It might just be a faulty one because everything else is top notch. The zipper does go DOWN super smooth without any catching, but bringing it up toward the top is where I encounter snags. I’m not sure on the 0°F rating but we have comfortably gotten down into the low 20’s. A friendly pointer for new campers: don’t breathe into your sleeping bag. Your breath creates a lot of condensation which will make the flannel wet, which will make you much colder. I try to keep it as far away from my mouth as I can, but sometimes it still gets wet from my breath in the cold. That said, it dries out super quickly come morning without the need to remove it from the tent and hang it up or any of that hassle stuff. Also remember your sleeping bag is only half of what keeps you warm. If you’re winter camping you NEED a winter rated mattress or pad or a cot to be comfortable. Happy camping! And get this bag!

The sleeping bag is well made and large enough. I wouldn't want to use it in really cold environments (-20c or colder.)

Bought a left and a right zip but haven’t tested them joined. Used single in 3°C weather with fleece blanket inside and was warm and cozy all night, almost too warm. I’m a bigger guy and tend to turn a lot when sleeping, this bag provides lots of room when fully zipped and I never felt constrained. I’m a little concerned about the durability of the zipper pull but only time will tell with more usage. Stuff sack is a good size, wasn’t too difficult to pack away when done, definitely not a space saving solution if that’s what you’re looking for.
