I'm a long-time JJC products user and I was pleased when I saw they offered a hand grip for the Q3. The grip is well made and is sturdy. It really helps with the ergonomics and to feel assured when you're holding the camera in hand. One key thing I appreciate is the cutout around the SD card panel. I had a half-case that I also bought and tried out. But the problem was the half-case's cut out made it nearly impossible to remove the SD card from the slot. However, in the case of the JJC hand grip, that's not a problem at all. Removing the battery works fine as well. For the money, the JJC hand grip is the best one available.

The Leica Q3 is a hyper capable, super beautiful photo making machine, but can be hard to grip, particularly for folks with large, and small hands. This hand grip gives my longish fingers a good grip on the camera, and makes the thumb depression built into the back case of the camera much more usable. It gives full access to the SD card slot and the Battery in the bottom but protects the bottom from scratching and makes the camera sit up on its base on a flat surface and not sit on the lens. All in all, given the pricing for similar items, and for Leica branded accessories(astronomical) this is an incredible value. If you have a Q3, buy it and try it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Every feels right about this handle, allowing easier one hand operation. The handle is nicely made, fits extremely well with camera. The built quality is their, and it’s definitely a 5 star product. Im giving it a 4 star because i think JCC can improve this. Since the handle pcs is technically an attachment tighten by a screw. Adding an interchangeable handle or options to buy different finishes allow so much options. I personally would like to see one of the same texture and finish of the camera.

love it! excellent build quality, light weight and sleek design. Improved looks and handling . i like the rear "spoiler" it helps to flip out the screen. Easy to remove for a tripod :)

Less expensive than the Leica grip and you won't know the difference.

This grip allows you access to both battery and SD card for the Leica Q3. Comfortable and secure handling for this expensive camera. I trust the features and apparent longevity. Branded competing accessory blocks battery and SD card plus costs more than twice as much.

I found with grips for the Q3 that the grips need to be longer for a larger hand. My right hand 2nd finger rest against the top of the angled grip and becomes uncomfortable. The IDS product has the same situation, however their grips are interchangeable with wood, fiberglass, metal. They to suffer with a grip that is not long enough. Hopefully they can address a longer grip option. If your hands are not large then this will not be an issue.

La prise en main est excellente, il est facile de retirer la pile et la carte, de plus il y a une prise large Arca Swiss pour mettre facilement et solidement le Q3 sur un trépied. Je le recommande sans hésiter.
